What you will do
As a Sr Associate Software Test Engineer, you’ll work at the intersection of science, data, and innovation. You’ll collaborate with world-class experts across domains to build high-impact digital solutions that accelerate research, streamline operations, and empower better patient outcomes
As a Software Test Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, performance, and reliability of CRM platforms across Amgen’s ecosystem. You will work closely with software engineers, product managers, and business analysts to define test plans, complete tests, implement automation frameworks, and ensure that Salesforce and Veeva CRM applications meet the highest standards.
You will be part of a team specifically focusing on Global CRM capabilities. Amgen uses fully integrated and best in class technologies, having Salesforce.com as core architecture & relying on business capabilities enablers such as Veeva CRM, Veeva Vault, Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

- Design and implement test strategies, test cases, and test scripts based on business and technical requirements
- Perform manual and automated testing across front-end and back-end systems
- Own test planning, completion, defect logging, and reporting
- Work with development teams to ensure proper unit testing and integration testing coverage
- Contribute to the automation of regression tests and integration of testing into the CI/CD pipeline
- Validate system integrations and data integrity between connected platforms
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
- Ensure compliance with GxP, data privacy, and validation standards
- Maintain detailed test documentation, traceability matrices, and quality reports

Minimum requirements:
- Master’s degree with 3 - 4 years of experience in Computer Science, IT or related
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in software testing, preferably in enterprise environments
- Familiarity with Salesforce, Veeva CRM, and cloud-based platforms
- Understanding of QA methodologies
- Knowledge of test automation tools
- Proficiency with test case design, completion, and bug tracking
- Understanding of Agile and Scrum development practices
- Familiarity with DevOps pipelines and test automation integration
- Excellent documentation and reporting skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively with global, virtual teams
- High degree of initiative and self-motivation
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality and process
Preferred requirements:
- Experience with performance and load testing
- Work closely with product team, business team, and other collaborators
- QA certifications
