Sr. Associate Software Developer

Amgen is seeking a Sr. Associate Software Developer to support the development of Field CRM and field intelligence solutions leveraging Salesforce, Veeva CRM, Databricks, and enterprise data platforms. This role focuses on building scalable, data-driven applications and integrations that enable field teams with actionable insights and efficient workflows.

The role involves hands-on full stack development, API integration, and working with field data pipelines and analytics datasets, partnering with product, engineering, and data teams to deliver user-friendly and high-performing solutions.

What you will do

Roles & Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance Field CRM (Salesforce and Veeva CRM) and field intelligence applications, including dashboards, workflows, and data-driven features.
• Build front-end components using modern frameworks (React.js, etc.) with focus on usability and UI/UX for field users.
• Develop back-end services and APIs (Node.js, Python) to support CRM integrations and Databricks-based data workflows.
• Work with Databricks and data platforms to support data pipelines, transformations, and delivery of field insights.
• Design and maintain data models supporting field activity, performance metrics, and customer engagement data.
• Develop and integrate APIs across Salesforce, Veeva CRM, Databricks, and enterprise systems.
• Apply user-centered design and design thinking to improve workflows and field user experience.
• Support development of AI-driven features such as insights, recommendations, or automation.
• Participate in Agile (SAFe) ceremonies and collaborate with product owners, engineers, and data teams.
• Support testing, deployment, performance tuning, and ongoing application maintenance.

What we expect of you

Basic Qualifications

Master’s degree and 1 to 3 years of experience
OR
Bachelor’s degree and 3 to 5 years of experience
OR
Diploma and 7 to 9 years of experience
(in Computer Science, IT, or related field)

Functional Skills

Must-Have

• Hands-on full stack development (Python, JavaScript, React.js, Node.js, SQL/NoSQL)
• Experience with APIs and system integrations
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Good-to-Have

• Experience with Salesforce and exposure to Veeva CRM
• Exposure to Databricks, data engineering, or data pipelines
• Experience building data-driven applications or dashboards
• Understanding of UI/UX and user-centered design
• Exposure to AI/ML or intelligent application features
• Knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps practices
