WORKDAY REPORTING ANALYST

WHAT YOU WILL DO
In this vital role who will act in a capacity to capture business requirements, design, develop and test, then deliver reporting solutions for HR, Managers, and Leaders. You will work directly with clients to effectively research, troubleshoot, and resolve reporting issues by using Workday, Excel and various reporting tools to meet the needs of the business. The job holder will work within the HR Systems and Solutions team reporting to the HR Reporting Manager.
Responsibilities:
Partner with key stakeholders to deliver on cyclical activities by using your reporting expertise (Performance Cycles, Annual Compensation Cycles, System Audits, etc.), advocating for continuous improvements and problem solving related to the processes
Design and deliver reports to stakeholders that request through the Amgen’s reporting case management platform
Provide concise report retrieval instructions, mentorship, and advice to clients
Create and maintain detailed configuration and standard operating procedures
Balance concurrent projects that require inputs from cross-functional partners while managing expectations and impact on end users
Deliver reports while taking advantage of Workday best practices to ensure consistent data definition and interpretation
Stay current with the latest advancements and opportunities in the Workday Ecosystem
Provide reporting and metrics design, configuration, and delivery

Basic Qualifications:
Doctorate's degree
OR
Master’s degree and 2 years of Human Resources experience
OR
Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of Human Resources experience
OR
Associate’s degree and 10 years of Human Resources experience
OR
High school diploma / GED and 12 years of Human Resources experience
Required experience:
Experience with Workday
2+ years of experience in Workday custom reporting and calculated fields
2+ years experience delivering HR Operational and Analytical reporting
Demonstrated experience working across the HR field supporting HR programs and cyclical events across Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, Compensation and Payroll
Experience with large global organizations and able to implement solutions under timelines, and prioritize work effectively to deliver on milestones
Demonstrated highly motivated effective self-starter with previous successful working experience in a diverse, fast paced, collaborate environment
Displays outstanding analytical, quantitative, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities, while making recommendations in a sophisticated data environment
Demonstrable experience in handling highly sensitive information with discretion and professionalism within data privacy standards
Additional Education and Experience:
Workday functional configuration experience
Workday worksheets
Workday studio experience
Advanced capability in Excel
Experience with ServiceNow and JIRA case management an asset
Experience working in an agile environment an asset
