WHAT YOU WILL DO
As Senior Associate Cloud / Web Operations Engineer you will play a vital role and be part of the web team, which provides end-to-end digital solutions and hosting for global websites enabling AMGEN brands to engage with healthcare professionals (HCPs) and our patients. The team offers an innovative web technology platform hosted in the cloud and ensures compliances and security features across our websites. You will be part of AMGEN's Global Commercial Client Facing Web Technology team.

  • Provide daily support for web operations, handling requests and collaborating with teams across regions.

  • Assist with deployments, incident management, and release coordination.

  • Help build and improve cloud engineering capabilities.

  • Ensure cloud services are secure, cost-efficient, and high-performing.

  • Manage tickets and requests related to web support and AWS/cloud services.

  • Work on diverse tasks: from small fixes to major feature development.

  • Act as a technical lead and guide the local team.

Basic Qualifications

  • Master’s degree OR Bachelor’s + 2 years in IT OR Associate’s + 6 years in IT.

Required Skills

  • Hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) – this is essential.

  • Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work under pressure.

  • Experience with large-scale web infrastructure.

  • Familiarity with Jira and Agile/SAFe.

  • Programming skills in Python

Nice to Have

  • 2+ years hands-on AWS experience (Route 53, WAF, CloudFront, load balancers, EKS/ECS/Fargate).
