PATIENT DATA MANAGEMENT MANAGER

WHAT YOU WILL DO
In this vital role, you will lead the management and optimization of Amgen’s patient data ecosystem, ensuring compliant, high-quality, and connected patient data operations that enable enhanced patient journey analytics and insights.
You will play a pivotal role as a strategic partner to Commercial leadership and partner closely with Patient Access, Field Excellence, Trade, Analytics, Privacy, Compliance, and Legal teams, driving business impact and supporting commercial success.
The responsibilities of the role will include:
- Oversee day-to-day U.S. patient data operations to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely data flow.
- Lead the curation and stewardship of patient data from Patient Support Programs, Specialty Pharmacies, and other key sources.
- Define and manage data requirements for new programs and sources in alignment with privacy and data architecture standards.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve data issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
- Monitor and improve data quality controls and governance to ensure consistency and compliance.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation of patient-level data assets in the Commercial Data Catalog.
- Ensure all data operations adhere to Amgen’s Privacy, Legal, and Compliance standards and approval processes.

WHAT WE EXPECT OF YOU
Our ideal candidate is a collaborative, customer-focused professional with strong problem-solving, result driven and organization skills.
Minimum Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in data management or commercial analytics, preferably in pharma, biotech, or healthcare.
- Advanced Excel and SQL proficiency.
- Demonstrated experience working with external vendors and managing SLAs as well as strong stakeholder engagement and communication.
- Degree in business, computer science, mathematics, healthcare, or related field.
- Proven project management experience in a complex, cross-functional, dynamic and matrixed environment.
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
- Previous mentoring or people leadership experience.
Preferred Requirements:
- Familiarity with ETL / Data Management Tools, AWS, Databricks, Redshift, Tableau.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications for IT partners.
- Skilled in developing and overseeing project plans, managing timelines, and ensuring delivery.
