MEDIA PERFORMANCE ANALYTICS MANAGER

WHAT YOU WILL DO
In this vital role, you will lead measurement and performance tracking of paid media efforts across priority brands, guiding the development of media KPIs and delivering analytics that inform optimization strategies.
As a strategic partner to brand leads, Global Customer Capabilities (GCC), and external media agencies, you will provide data-driven insights, oversee dashboarding and reporting strategies, and engage in high-level discussions to ensure media investments deliver measurable value aligned with Amgen’s commercial objectives.
The responsibilities of the role will include:
- Develop and manage media performance dashboards and storytelling presentations to enable executive-level decision-making.
 - Oversee campaign data delivery, identify trends, and generate cross-channel insights.
 - Translate performance into actionable recommendations to optimize return on investment (ROI).
 - Drive alignment on KPI frameworks, reporting standards, and measurement practices.
 - Act as a quality control owner for campaign data integrity and analytics deliverables.
 - Supervise junior analytics staff and support capability building within Lisbon ACCP.
 - Contribute to quarterly/ad hoc brand readouts and global reporting cycles.
 - Uphold compliance with data privacy, regulatory, and legal standards.

WHAT WE EXPECT OF YOU

Minimum requirements
- + 5 years of experience in analytics, preferably in media analytics, digital marketing measurement, or commercial analytics.
 - Experience using SQL, being able to create and optimize queries for data extraction and analysis.
 - Experience with marketing mix modeling (MMM), lift analysis, and other media analytics.
 - Proficiency in English (written and spoken) with outstanding data storytelling and executive presentation skills.
 - Consistent record leading agency partners, and influencing cross-functional stakeholders, including senior brand leadership.
 - Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
 - Previous mentoring or people leadership exposure.
 - University Degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, healthcare or related field.
 
Preferred requirements
- Familiar with visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and media platforms (e.g., Google Ads, DV360, Meta Ads Manager).
 - Experience using Tableau, Power BI, or similar data visualization platforms is a plus.
 - Experience in pharma/biotech or regulated industry is a plus but not required.
