COMMERCIAL ANALYTICS MANAGER

WHAT YOU WILL DO

In this vital role, you will lead insights generation by integrating multiple secondary data sources and coaching Customer Data and Analytics (CD&A) colleagues to assess Rare Disease brand performance and deliver tactical recommendations. As a strategic partner to Commercial leadership, you will provide data-driven insights, oversee global inline and pipeline assets, and engage in high-level discussions with brand leaders while managing a cross-brand analytics team.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Design, lead, and execute secondary data analytics strategies to support commercial decision-making.
  • Perform and oversee data extraction, cleaning, and manipulation using SQL, VBA, and Python; analyze complex sources such as HCP, claims, Electronic Medical Records (EMR), and specialty pharmacy data to generate comprehensive brand insights.
  • Translate findings into actionable recommendations for cross-functional stakeholders, including sales, marketing, finance, and IT.
  • Provide detailed analytics and performance insights to senior leadership and brand teams.
  • Lead and mentor a team of analysts; enhance analytical capabilities by adopting new tools, methodologies, and ways of working.
  • Build and maintain dashboards and management reports to communicate insights clearly to business collaborators.

WHAT WE EXPECT OF YOU

Our ideal candidate is a customer-focused team player with strong problem-solving, results orientation, and process leadership skills, with the ability to work with and interpret data optimally.

Minimum Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Pharma/Biotech sales & marketing operations, finance, analytics, and/or reporting.
  • Previous leadership experience in analytical roles within the pharma sector.
  • Bachelor’s or higher degree in commerce, finance, economics, mathematics, healthcare, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
  • Strong skills in Excel, SQL, data visualization, and PowerPoint.

Preferred Requirements

  • Proficient in SQL, VBA, Python, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau).
  • Hands-on experience with diverse secondary data sources and analytics platforms.
  • Strong understanding of data, research methodologies, and business intelligence/reporting strategies.
  • Ability to define business problems and develop actionable insights through analytics.
  • Project management and critical thinking skills, with a proactive approach.
  • Effective cross-functional collaboration to support brand strategy and find opportunities.
  • Experience with rare disease or neuroimmunology market analytics is a plus
  • Familiarity with pharmaceutical sales and marketing operations.
