What you will do

As a Senior Associate Field Excellence & Business Insights, you will play a key role in driving commercial excellence and data-driven decision-making across multiple Business Units. You will partner with Sales, Marketing, Commercial Operations, and Leadership teams to provide strategic insights, lead critical planning processes, and ensure the effective use of commercial data to optimize business performance.

Some of the tasks related to this role are:

  • Lead annual Brand Planning activities by providing strategic analyses, performance assessments, and business recommendations across Business Units.
  • Own the development and delivery of Business Reviews, providing actionable insights on business performance, risks, opportunities, and market dynamics.
  • Lead Sales Incentive Plan (SIP) performance analyses and support optimization initiatives to improve sales effectiveness.
  • Drive Plan of Action (POA) planning, qualification, execution monitoring, and post-implementation performance assessments.
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, Commercial Operations, Finance, and Leadership teams to identify business challenges and define analytical solutions.
  • Generate strategic business insights through commercial analyses and performance monitoring.
  • Develop and enhance dashboards, reports, and visualizations that provide actionable insights to business stakeholders.
  • Ensure the quality, consistency, reliability, and effective use of commercial data for reporting and decision-making.
  • Support the maintenance and enhancement of data assets, reporting solutions, and business intelligence tools.
  • Lead and coordinate market research initiatives and competitive intelligence analyses to support business strategy.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on Sales Force Effectiveness activities, including territory management, targeting, segmentation, and performance tracking.
  • Present findings, recommendations, and business cases to stakeholders across different levels of the organization.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to optimize reporting, processes, and business performance monitoring.
  • Provide ad hoc analytical support to Commercial Operations, Marketing, Finance, FP&A, and Leadership teams.

You demonstrate curiosity, independence, and a willingness to learn while supporting key commercial decision-making processes.

Proven experience and skills needed:

  • University Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Life Sciences, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in Sales Force Effectiveness, Commercial Excellence, Business Analytics, Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Commercial Operations, Consulting, or related areas.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable business insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Experience analyzing business performance metrics and supporting commercial decision-making processes.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel, with the ability to create compelling executive-level presentations and communicate insights effectively.
  • Experience with Tableau or similar Business Intelligence and data visualization tools.
  • Strong working knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
  • Understanding of data quality principles, reporting processes, data validation methodologies, and reporting best practices.
  • Ability to gather business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions and reporting needs.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining a collaborative team-oriented approach.
  • Consistent track record of delivering high-impact work and contributing to business performance improvements.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Experience leading or supporting Sales Force Effectiveness, Commercial Excellence, or Business Operations initiatives.
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, or other highly regulated industries.
  • Experience supporting Brand Planning, Business Reviews, Sales Incentive Plan (SIP) processes, Plan of Action (POA) activities, or similar commercial planning processes.
  • Exposure to Market Research projects, methodologies, competitive intelligence, and insights generation.
  • Experience preparing executive-level presentations, business cases, and strategic recommendations.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Familiarity with data management concepts, data governance practices, and reporting frameworks.
  • Experience with ETL and data preparation tools (e.g., Alteryx, Tableau Prep, or similar).
  • Familiarity with VBA, Python, or other automation tools.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in a multinational environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and drive alignment across multiple business functions.
  • Demonstrated service-oriented mindset and strong customer focus.
