What you will do

You will be joining our Global Commercial Operations – Digital, Technology and Innovation capability team. This young and dynamic team, focusing on the ELMAC Region (including Europe, Latin America, Canada and Africa), is responsible to support technology roadmap development in a different business value streams in organization.

What we expect of you

As a Scrum Master, you will play a pivotal role in facilitating Agile practices, ensuring effective sprint planning, execution, and delivery of features, improvements, validations, and data integration that drive value for our business users. In this role, you will empower your team to achieve its goals, leveraging your skills to foster collaboration and efficiency.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Lead and facilitate agile events including stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, retrospectives, demos and backlog refinement meetings to promote team collaboration.

  • Guide and Coach the team in understanding and applying Agile frameworks principles and practices.

  • Work with Product Owners to refine and prioritize the backlog ensuring the team delivers high-value outcomes aligned with business objectives.

  • Resolve conflicts and remove impediments hindering team’s progress. Escalate risks and cross-Team dependency to ensure that they are addressed in a timely manner.

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the Teams by leading retrospectives, encouraging innovation, promoting Agile engineering practices and DevOps culture.

  • Monitor and report on the progress of the Team ensuring transparency and alignment with Sprint goals and Team objectives.

  • Help the scrum teams achieve delivery acceleration focused on business outcomes by reaching higher levels of scrum maturity.

  • Support scaling Agile by engaging in cross-team ceremonies and Program Increment (PI) planning to align team activities with Agile Release Train (ART) objectives.

Basic Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in computer science or engineering field and 1 to 3 years of relevant experience OR

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering field and 3 to 5 years of relevant experience OR

  • Diploma and Minimum of 8+ years of relevant work experience

Functional Skills:

  • Certified Scrum Master or SAFe Scrum Master or similar (mandatory)

  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies particularly the Scrum and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)

  • Prior experience with Agile project management tools, such as Jira, Confluence and Jira Align

  • Experience in guiding teams through Agile events and ensuring adherence to agreed practices and behaviors

  • Adept at refinement, story splitting, estimation, velocity, retrospection and other Scrum Techniques

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for tackling complex challenges with data

  • Collaborative spirit and effective communication skills to work seamlessly in a cross-functional team

  • Good understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)

  • Good understanding of DevOps and Test Automation Processes in software delivery

  • Certified SAFe Practitioner (preferred)

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent analytical and solve skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills (English) in translating technology content into business-language at various levels

  • Ability to work effectively with global, virtual teams

  • High degree of initiative and self-motivation

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities successfully

  • Team-oriented, with a focus on achieving team goals

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Strong time and task leadership skills to estimate and successfully meet project timeline with ability to bring consistency and quality assurance across various projects.
