PROCESS DEVELOPMENT SENIOR SCIENTIST (DRUG PRODUCT TECHNICAL LEAD)
What you will do
Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. In this vital role you will integrate science, process design, execution, product specific studies, technical data and risk assessments across PD functions to ensure development of robust Drug Product manufacturing processes.
Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Provide technical input in Drug Product formulation, filling, inspection, technology transfers, lifecycle changes, regulatory submissions, deviations, and complaints as part of the Product Quality and Product Delivery Technical teams.
- Design, monitor, and conduct experimental strategies with general guidance, analyzing and interpreting data to assess project impact.
- Stay current in scientific expertise and monitor relevant literature and technological advancements, communicating impactful observations to the team and incorporating them into project strategies.
- Introduce advanced scientific methods and develop novel protocols to address specific challenges, collaborating within and outside the department to drive innovation.
- Lead or assist in experimental design, data interpretation, and implementation of innovative solutions. Independently author scientific reports, summary documents, regulatory submissions, and patents.
- Act as a technical resource within the department, contributing to internal presentations and external publications or conferences while participating in the broader scientific community.
- Develop and enhance scientific and technical skills by attending conferences and taking the lead in department-wide initiatives, such as safety, recruiting, and committee efforts.

Basic Qualifications:
Doctorate degree
Or
Master’s degree and 3 years of scientific experience
Or
Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of scientific experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Educational background in Life Sciences and/or Engineering.
- Experience in manufacturing processes, including parenteral formulation, filling, and inspection within a regulated industry and strong understanding of cGMPs.
- Advanced technical knowledge, including scientific analysis, troubleshooting, laboratory skills, and creative design of experiments with the ability to interpret results.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to empower and supervise teams, and collaborate effectively across departments.
- Proficient in Spanish and English (written and verbal), including technical writing skills.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with experience in project management, negotiation, and conflict resolution.
- Experience conducting non-conformance investigations and implementing corrective actions.
- Proficiency in computer applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and specialized tools such as JMP, Spotfire, and Databricks.
- Flexible and adaptable to manage change and support non-standard shifts as needed.
