Data Management Manager
Duties: Gather data requirements for onboarding of new patient support programs, specialty pharmacy and other patient data sources; Implement end to end data curation processes for Amgen’s new and existing PSP (Patient Support Programs) and SP (Specialty Pharmacies) data sources; Implement linking of first and third-party patient data assets to enable longitudinal analytics across the patient journey including SP, Hub, and Syndicated data sets. Lead all aspects of day-to-day patient data operations for multiple brands supported by this role including the daily management of data aggregation vendor activities; Respond and resolve data inquiries from cross-functional stakeholders; Identify data issues across data sources, ensure checks are implemented and monitor data quality; Ensure compliant processing and management of patient level data assets in adherence to all Amgen Privacy and Compliance SOPs; and Enforce data governance for patient data assets through data access management and business approval processes. May telecommute. Supervises direct reports.
Requirements: Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or related field & 3 years of experience in the job offered or in an Analyst – related occupation. Experience also requires 3 years in the following:
1. Data Modeling and Extract Transform Load (ETL) of data warehouses and columnar databases with experience in SQL or Python to build scalable and automated data pipelines;
Architecting Data solutions using cloud-based data solutions including AWS, Azure, GCP, cloud-based object storage services including Amazon S3 and Microsoft Azure Blob Storage, On-prem Databases, SQL, Python and Spark;
Utilizing cloud-based data platforms including Databricks, Snowflake, or Dataiku;
DevOps and implementing agile methodologies in a regulated environment;
Orchestrating and automating data flow pipelines for daily operational runs using Azure Data Factory (ADF), Databricks workflows, or Autosys;
Integrating data solutions and data pipelines with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Data Warehouse or Data Lake platforms via batch and API methodologies using TIBCO, MuleSoft, or Azure Integration Services;
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive data standardization and automation;
Designing and building data-support modules such as Data Quality Management, Hierarchy, or User and Workflow Data Change Requests Management;
Translating business logic and rules into requirements specifications, process workflows and data flow diagrams leading to architected solution design using MS Visio or PPT; and
Design, implement, and optimize BI reporting solutions, leveraging tools including Tableau, Power BI, and Looker.

Job type: Full-time position. The annual salary for this position in the U.S. is $142,210.00 per year. The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is posted. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
