ABOUT THE ROLE
Role Description
This role requires hands-on experience in Salesforce platform development and deployment, including Salesforce Communities and Copado DevOps tools. The candidate will be the go-to technical resource responsible for supporting Production and non-Production environments, ensuring code quality and platform compliance, and driving continuous improvements in the digital technology ecosystem.
This role will drive overall team success by applying program management principles for the Supply Chain – Customer Service, Order to Cash, Global Distribution, and Logistics technology products and solutions, partnering with business and technology leaders to ensure comprehensive alignment, and finding optimized ways to deliver business outcomes. As the Technical Product Owner, the candidate will own and lead all processes, financials, and governance aspects for initiatives undertaken in these domains. This position is responsible for implementation and management of secure, scalable solutions with a focus on the Salesforce.com (SFDC) platform.
Must-Have Skills
- Formulate sound technical solutions to business requirements supporting Customer Service, Order to Cash cycle, Global Distribution and Logistics outcomes.
- Build and customize Salesforce applications using Apex, SOQL, Lighting Web Components, JavaScript, Visual Force, AJAX, HTML, XML, CSS, Process Builders, Flow Management, Custom Settings, Workflow Rules, Triggers, Data Loader, Reports, Dashboards, REST APIs, SOAP Web Services and migration tools.
- Strong knowledge of web services, data modeling, and enterprise application integration concepts - including experience with implementing Salesforce Integrations with Mulesoft, Conga and DocuSign.
- Build Service cloud capabilities - accounts & contracts, cases, email-to-case and omni channel rules targeting business requirements.
- Lead the technical configuration and build of Lightning Web Components for Service, B2B Commerce and experience cloud capabilities.
- Knowledge of Cisco CTI adapters and Salesforce Call Center configurations.
- Communicate software and system designs using UML, lucid chart or other modeling tools and software.
- Skilled in utilizing Copado to automate and streamline Salesforce deployments, including metadata and data migrations, with minimal downtime and error reduction. Proficient in configuring deployment rules, validation checks, and rollback procedures and adept in using Git for version control and collaborative development.
- Drive AI POCs to align with business use cases with speed to value in mind.
- Ensure successful delivery and adoption of AI solutions, driving measurable outcomes and enterprise scalability.
- Responsible for assessing and determining the impact of new Salesforce features, that are released three times a year, on the technology products and solutions.
- Assist business groups on solution requirements, understanding current and future state impacts on the platform and associated business functions.
- Experienced in leading product-focused, agile teams using a flexible approach ranging from servant leadership to directive depending on the situation. Build and cultivate a high-performing team with a strong culture of collaboration and ownership.
- Work collaboratively to drive goals to enable and ensure successful sprints and rollouts.
- Foster growth and development of direct reports, providing coaching, mentorship, and career guidance.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with 12 - 17 years of experience in Business, Engineering, IT or related field
Good-to-Have Skills:
- Experience in business process re-engineering or process improvement, involving broad-based information systems, utilizing tools and techniques to effect business change
- Ability to understand business strategy and needs and support the translation into application requirements
- Ability to create compelling business cases balancing business benefits and costs
- Understands business complexity and project interdependencies
- Intellectual curiosity and the ability to question thought partners across functional areas
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to communicate appropriately at all levels of the organization; this includes written and verbal communications as well as visualizations
- Strong understanding of basic system engineering, information risk and security guidelines and architecture standards
