ABOUT THE ROLE
Role Description:
TheSpecialist Software Engineer - Anaplanis responsible for designing, developing, and maintainingContracting IQ’s (CIQ) Anaplan applications and solutions that meet business needs and ensuring the availability and performance of critical systems and applications. This role involves working closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to create high-quality, scalable software solutions and automating operations, monitoring system health, and responding to incidents to minimize downtime.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Hands on work, building andmaintaining Anaplanmodels to support pricing, rebate, and provider contracting workflows
Integrate Anaplan models with multiple data sources (ERP, CRM, flat files for seamless data flow, automate data loads, calculations and reporting processes to reduce manual effort
Contribute to both model build as well as APP updates
Drive continuous improvement in architecture by finding opportunities for innovation and efficiency
Co-innovate with Value & Access team by planning and managing Product roadmaps
Work directly with business SMEs to understand, prioritize and advise on application focus and rollout
Work independently, function as a knowledge resource for less experienced team members
Serve as lead for operational support in a DevOps model for the deployed Anaplan solutions
Own and maintain SDLC documentation using Agile tools such as Confluence
Basic Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor’s / Master’s degree and 4 to 8 years of Computer Science, IT or related field experience
Functional Skills:
Must-Have Skills:
Demonstratable experience of implementing or managing multiple planning solutions in Anaplan (preferred) or similar EPM tools (e.g. Hyperion, OneStream, SAP BPC or TM1)
Experience working in DevOps teams, utilizing tools like Jira
Possess strong learning agility and analytical thinking with solid attention to detail
Outstanding interpersonal skills and technical leadership
Good-to-Have Skills:
Strong solution design and problem-solving skills
Experience in developing differentiated and deliverable solutions
Ability to analyze client requirements and translate them into solution
Experience with pharmaceutical contracting
Professional Certifications
Anaplan Level 3 Certification (preferred)
Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) for Teams (preferred)
Soft Skills:
Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work effectively with global, virtual teams
High degree of initiative and self-motivation
Ability to manage multiple priorities successfully

Shift Information:
This position requires you to work a later shift and may be assigned a second or third shift schedule. Candidates must be willing and able to work during evening or night shifts, as required based on business requirements.
