ABOUT THE ROLE

Role Description: Scrum Master supporting the Network Security team’s delivery cadence, team effectiveness, and operational discipline. This role facilitates agile ceremonies, helps remove impediments, tracks action items and deliverables, and supports cross-functional coordination to keep work moving smoothly. The position works closely with engineering, product, and business partners to improve team visibility, communication, and execution. The ideal candidate has strong facilitation, organization, and communication skills, with experience supporting agile teams and driving continuous improvement.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies including daily standups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
  • Coach the team on Agile principles, Scrum practices, and continuous improvement
  • Remove or help resolve impediments that impact team delivery
  • Coordinate priorities, dependencies, and communications across engineering, product, and business stakeholders
  • Track sprint progress, delivery metrics, risks, issues, and action items using Agile management tools
  • Partner with Product Owners to support backlog refinement and sprint readiness.
  • Foster a collaborative, transparent, and high-performing team environment
  • Support organizational initiatives to improve team effectiveness, delivery predictability, and operational excellence
  • Develop dashboards, reports, and metrics to provide visibility into team performance and delivery
  • Support adoption of automation and AI-assisted workflows that improve team productivity and operational efficiency

Basic Qualifications and Experience:

  • Any degree with 5–9 years of experience supporting Agile delivery, Scrum, project coordination, organizational effectiveness, or a related field

Functional Skills:

Must-Have Skills:

  • Experience serving as Scrum Master for Agile software delivery teams
  • Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies
  • Experience using Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar Agile tools
  • Ability to facilitate meetings and drive cross-functional collaboration
  • Experience tracking risks, dependencies, and delivery metrics
  • Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to coach teams toward continuous improvement

Good-to-Have Skills:

  • Experience supporting cybersecurity or infrastructure teams
  • Experience with Agile reporting and dashboards
  • Experience with AI-assisted productivity tools and workflow automation
  • Familiarity with SAFe or scaled Agile environments
  • Experience supporting globally distributed teams

Professional Certifications:

  • Required (one of the following):
  • SAFe Scrum Master (SSM)
  • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)
  • Professional Scrum Master I (PSM I)
  • Preferred:
  • PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)

Soft Skills:

  • Strong English verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively with global, virtual teams
  • High degree of initiative and self-motivation
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities successfully
