ABOUT THE ROLE
Role Description:
The Senior Associate Project Manager (PM), Global Learning Solutions (GLS), reports to the Lead Project Manager and supports Global Learning & Performance (GL&P) Learning Professionals and Instructional Designers (IDs) across all regions.
The Senior Associate PM is responsible for coordinating and supporting training projects through intake, scoping, planning, execution, and closeout. This role provides stakeholder management, schedules and facilitates scoping meetings, creates and monitors timelines, coordinates project resources, and ensures alignment with GLS processes. The Senior Associate PM contributes to the delivery of high-quality training solutions that meet business needs, regulatory standards, and learner expectations.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Serve as Primary GLS Project Contact when assigned, leading intake and scoping meetings to capture project requirements.
Develop and maintain detailed project plans, establishing timelines and milestones for design, development, testing, and deployment.
Coordinate resources across IDs, Developers, Media, Vendors, and LMS Operations to ensure project deliverables are assigned and tracked.
Provide process guidance, ensuring GLS standards, documentation, and compliance requirements are followed.
Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and communication with stakeholders, escalating risks and issues as needed.
Support the testing and closeout process, including LMS integration, vendor deliverables, and archiving project documentation.
Contribute to process improvement initiatives, lessons learned, and standardization of GLS practices.
Maintain accurate project portfolio updates in SharePoint and project tracking tools.
Provides instructional design support on learning projects
Basic Qualifications and Experience:
Master’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering, IT or related field
AND
5+ years of work experience in Project Manager or Program Manager supporting training or development projects in a multinational organization
Functional Skills:
Must-Have Skills:
Strong project management skills with experience managing multiple projects of moderate complexity simultaneously
Ability to schedule and facilitate scoping meetings and translate requirements into actionable project plans
Proficiency with project management software (MS Project, SharePoint) and Microsoft Office 365 tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
Knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS) integration and testing processes
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Good-to-Have Skills:
Familiarity with instructional design/development processes and tools (Articulate Storyline, Rise, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.)
Experience managing translation and vendor-delivered training projects
Understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements for training projects
Ability to contribute to continuous improvement through process documentation, templates, and lessons learned
Professional Certifications (please mention if the certification is preferred or mandatory for the role):
PMP, CAPM, or equivalent project management certification preferred
