Job Description

Admin Roles& Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

The Sr. Associate, Content Generation System Administrator supports the daily administration and operational reliability of enterprise content generation and automation platforms (like Adobe GenStudio) used in Amgen’s global content supply chain. This role ensures content generation tools, asset templates, configuration-controlled workflows, and integrated handoffs run smoothly and in alignment with operational and governance standards. The Sr. Associate partners with onshore business owners, content capabilities teammates, creative operations, and IT teams to execute and maintain configurations, triage and resolve issues where possible, and clearly escalate items requiring technical development. The role also contributes to UAT, documentation, and continuous improvement of platform capabilities.

Platform Administration Support

  • Complete and maintain platform configurations for content generation and automation tools, including user provisioning, permission management, template setup, and system settings updates.

  • Maintain content creation templates and configuration-controlled components (automation rules, asset structures, metadata defaults, and platform settings) to ensure accuracy, compliance, and operational consistency.

  • Support UAT for platform updates and enhancements by executing test scripts, validating configuration behavior, documenting outcomes, and coordinating handoffs to IT/technical teams when development changes are required.

Workflow Operations & Issue Resolution

  • Monitor automation-driven content workflows (template activation, content generation, creative assembly, and downstream handoffs) to ensure stable execution and timely throughput.

  • Troubleshoot issues within the platform by applying configuration-level fixes where applicable, and identify/escalate platform defects or enhancement needs that require technical development to the onshore platform business owner and IT.

  • Log, track, and close incidents and service requests within defined SLAs; communicate status, risks, and escalation paths to stakeholders to minimize disruption to content production.

Governance & Compliance Execution

  • Configure and uphold governance controls (metadata standards, workflow controls, template versioning, naming conventions, and status protocols) within the platform.

  • Perform routine platform health checks, monitoring, and log reviews to support audit readiness and operational compliance.

  • Flag inconsistencies, policy deviations, or operational risks; coordinate corrective actions through configuration changes where possible and escalate remediation needs requiring technical development to the onshore platform business owner and IT.

Onshore Collaboration & Workload Coordination

  • Partner with U.S.-based platform business owners and operations leads to align on priorities, complete configuration work, and provide feedback for future requirements.

  • Support smooth operational handoffs between offshore administration, onshore business owners, and IT—clarifying when requests can be resolved via configuration versus when technical build/development is required.

  • Provide visibility into progress, risks, and dependencies, including any platform issue escalations that require technical development or vendor support.

User Support & Training Enablement

  • Provide day-to-day user support for marketing, agency, and operations teams, including access requests, template usage guidance, and first-line triage of platform issues.

  • Maintain SOPs, quick guides, and training materials to support onboarding, compliant usage, and consistent execution of configured workflows.

  • Assist onshore leads with training delivery, demos, and communications for system changes; gather user feedback and route enhancement requests to the platform business owner/IT for prioritization.

System Optimization & Integration Support

  • Identify workflow challenges, bottlenecks, template gaps, and AI enablement needs; propose configuration improvements and provide feedback to the platform business owner for future requirements.

  • Participate in testing, UAT, documentation, and rollout activities for platform enhancements and integrations; coordinate with IT on items that require technical development.

  • Execute configuration updates and small-scale platform improvements under guidance from system owners, documenting changes and validating downstream impact.

  • Support integration coordination between the content generation tool and upstream/downstream platforms by validating configuration dependencies, monitoring handoffs, and escalating technical build needs to IT.

Performance Tracking & Reporting

  • Review and analyze metrics such as issue resolution times, workflow performance, template usage, and user adoption trends.

  • Partner with analyst to prepare recurring operational dashboards and summaries for review of content ecosystem health with partners.

  • Highlight recurring issues or trends that may require configuration changes, process updates, or technical development, and route them through the appropriate onshore owners for prioritization.

Team Collaboration & Capability Growth

  • Provide day-to-day support and collaboration across content capabilities teams to ensure consistent service delivery.

  • Contribute to process documentation, best practices, and capability-building efforts.

  • Support team leads on operational readiness and workload balancing.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Technology, Digital Operations, or related field.
  • 5 years of experience in creative/automation platforms or content production systems.
  • Strong working knowledge of Adobe solutions, CRM systems, and DAM platforms (AEM or equivalent), Veeva Vault.
  • Hands-on experience with system configuration, template management, or production workflows.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail, data accuracy, and content governance.
  • Experience managing multiple priorities in a global or matrixed organization.

Preferred:

  • Familiarity with pharmaceutical marketing materials, regulatory processes, and compliance standards.
  • Working experience with creative operations, marketing operations, or digital production teams.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally with technical and business teams.
