Specialist Software Engineer

Let’sdo this.Let’schange the world.We are seeking a Specialist Software Engineer to design, build, and scale enterprise-grade AI-powered web applications that enable intelligent workflows across Manufacturing and Operations. The ideal candidate combines strong full-stack engineeringexpertisewith cloud-native development, modern frontend frameworks, backend API design, and practical experience integrating Generative AI capabilities into production applications.

Roles &Responsibilities

• Design, prototype, develop, and deploy cloud-based full-stack applications using modern software engineering practices and Generative AI technologies. 

• Build responsive, accessible, and high-performing user interfaces using React and TypeScript across devices and browsers. 

• Develop reusable UI components, design patterns, APIs, modules, integrations, reports, and enhancements that improve scalability, maintainability, and user experience. 

• Partner with UX designers, product managers, business stakeholders, QA, and engineering teams to translate requirements, wireframes, and prototypes into production-ready solutions. 

• Analyze functional and technical requirements and convert them into scalable software architecture, design specifications, and implementation plans. 

• Lead technical design discussions and architecture reviews while defining engineering standards, reusable patterns, and best practices. 

• Build and integrate back-end services, APIs, and system interfaces to enable seamless functionality and data flow across platforms. 

• Ensure software quality through clean code, code reviews, automated testing, CI/CD, performance optimization, accessibility validation, and defect resolution. 

• Create andmaintaintechnical documentation for architecture, design, deployment, disaster recovery, operations, and support. 

• Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, maintenance, and performance improvements for production applications. 

• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend adoption strategies that improve user experience, engineering productivity, and platform quality. 

• Automate manual processes and develop reusable frameworks, accelerators, and engineering assets. 

• Mentor junior engineers, promote engineering excellence, and support continuous improvement across the software development lifecycle. 

• Work in Agile/SAFeenvironments using JIRA, Confluence, and Agile DevOps tools to manage sprints, backlogs, user stories, and incremental delivery.

Basic Qualifications:

• Doctorate degree / Master's degree / Bachelor's degree and 8 to 13 years of experience years of experience in Computer Science,ITor related field 

Must-Have Skills

• Solid understanding and experience in cloud computing principles, particularly within the AWS ecosystem, understandprosand cons ofvarious servicesinwell architectedcloud design principles.

• Knowledge of HTML,CSS,JavaScript,andTypescriptalong with popular front-end frameworks like React (preferred) or Angular, isrequiredto build interactive and responsive web applications

• Proficiencyin Python/PySparkdevelopment, Fast API,REST APIS,Databricks, DevOps Tools, CI/CD, Data Ingestion, andGraphQL.

• In-depth knowledge of data engineering concepts, ETL processes, and data architecture principles.

• Experienced with API integration, serverless, microservicesand Event-drivenarchitecture.

• Candidates should be able to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.

• Experience with software engineering best practices, version control (Git, Subversion, etc.), CI/CD (Jenkins, Maven, etc.), automated unit testing, and DevOps

• Ability to quickly learn, adapt, and applynew technologies.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), Agile delivery practices, and DevOps practices.

Good-to-Have Skills

• Experience with AIassistedcode development using tools like GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code.

• Experience in biotechnology orpharmaindustry.

• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk)

Education and Professional Certifications

• AWS Certified Cloud, Data Engineer, Developer or Solutions Architect preferred

• Databricks Certificate preferred

• Scaled AgileSAFecertification preferred
