ABOUT THE ROLE

In this vital role you willbe responsible forarchitecting, designing, andimplementationofSAP S/4HANAPlan to Stocksolutions(Supply planning,Purchasing,Manufacturing, Quality, Material/Inventory Managementand Batchmanagement)across all the Amgen manufacturing and distribution sites.This role focuses on leveraging SAP technologies to streamline and enhancePlan to Stockprocesses,ensuring alignment with business needs and industry best practices.As an SAP Solution architect, youwill work closely withoperationsIT andbusiness stakeholders to gather requirements,design,and configuresolutions, and provide post-implementation support.This position requires deepexpertisein SAPMM, IM, PPand QMmodules witha solid understanding ofLogistics and Distribution processes.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Participate in ERP implementation projects as part of the physical financial product team, including blueprinting, gap analysis, testing, go-live, and post-production support.

• Design, configuration, andoptimizationofPlan to Stock(Plant setup,MRP, DirectProcurement,Sub-contracting,Manufacturing, Quality, Inventory Management and Batchmanagement, Inter and Intra company STO)process in SAP S/4HANA

• Good understanding of SAP Advanced IntercompanySTO process

• Ensure seamless integration between SAPS/4 modulesMM, FI, PP, TM,ATTP,GTS, EAS,Ariba,and EWM)as well asnon-SAPsystems forplanning,qualityandmanufacturing systems like Kinaxis,MES and LIMS.

• Conduct architectural reviews and assessments toidentifypotential risks and recommend mitigation strategies 

• Oversee creationand maintenance of critical documentation such as functional designs, test cases, and user manuals. Ensure compliance withpharmaceuticalindustry standards and regulations.

• Participate in ERPimplementation projects, including blueprinting, gap analysis, testing, go-live, and post-production support.

• Mentorotherarchitectsand team members to ensure the effective execution of the projects and services

• Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives to deliver and sustain Amgen's S/4HANA ecosystemutilizingthe Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)

• Develop innovative solutions that drive speed to value via AI/ML and leading controlpractices

Basic Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s degree with4–6yearsof SAP implementation experience in SAP MM, PP-PIand QMmodules

• Bachelor’s degree with6-8yearsof SAP implementation experience in SAPMM, PP-PIand QM modules 

• Diploma with10-12years of SAP implementation experience in SAPMM,IM, andQMmodules

Functional Skills:

Must-Have Skills:

• Strong hands-onexperience configuring and customizingSAP S/4MM, IM,MRP, Sub-contracting,andSTO processes. 

• Strong understanding ofSAP S/4HANAIntraandAdvancedIntercompany stock transfers,sub-contract manufacturing process. 

• Ability to design and implement solutions based on business requirements, includingdebugging and root cause analysis.

• Experience in creating detailed documentation, including functional specifications,test cases, and compliance reports.

Good-to-Have Skills:

• KnowledgeofSAP S/4HANAInboundlogisticsand warehouse managementprocess,Transportation management. 

• Experience withintegrating SAPwith Ariba supplier collaboration, IBPorKinaxissupply and demandplanningsystemand PLM system.

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies for software delivery and process improvement.

Professional Certifications:

• SAP Certified Application AssociateinSAPS/4 HanaMaterial Management andInventory Management

• Agile Certified Practitioner (preferred)

• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
