Specialist SAP Architect, Order to Cash

ABOUT THE ROLE

Role Description:

In this vital role, you will be responsible for leading, architecting, designing, and implementing SAPS4 Order to Cashsolutions with a focus on Order Management, Billing and Pricingprocesses and capabilities. As a Specialist SAP Architect within our global Digital, Technology, and Innovation (DTI) team, this role will help guide the transition from our worldwide ERPS4instanceon PlatformOTC( Orderto cash), along with the successful migration of theS4feedersystems. This position requires deep expertise inSAPS4 OTCmodule with a good understanding of cross functional integration with SAPGTS( GlobaltradeServices)other modules. Are you akeySAP analyst with deep technical experience inCompliance and Customsprocesses? Come join a team that is passionate about innovation and making life better with technology! 

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Design and configure theSAP S4 OTCmoduleto meet business requirements and implementprocesses aroundBilling and Pricingdata determination in Invoices. 

• Ensures solutions developed are aligned to enterprise architecture standards, guidelines and principles by leverage common technology platforms and services. 

• Ensures seamless integration betweenS4 andconnected withSAP modules (GTS,FI, MM, OTC, TM, ATTP, and EWM) as well as third-party systems. 

• Participate inOTC and GTSimplementation projects as part of theGTOproduct team, including blueprinting, gap analysis, testing, go-live, and post-production support. Provide mentoring to team members. 

• Creation and maintenance of critical documentation such as technical assessments, configuration specs, functional designs, test cases, and user manuals. Ensures compliance with pharmaceutical industry standards and regulations. 

• Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives to deliver and sustain Amgen'sSAPOTCmodule integrated withSAPGTSecosystem utilizing the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). 

• Develop innovative solutions that drive speed to value via AI/ML and leading practices. 

• Ability to translate business requirements into design options that are cost effective, efficient, re-usable that align with defined architectural principles and standards. 

Basic Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s degree in computer science orLegalmajors and 4 to 6 years of SAP implementation experience inspecific to SAPS4 OTCmodule.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science orLegalmajors and 6 to 8 years of SAP implementation experiencespecificallyin SAPS4 ITCModule

• Diploma in computer science orLegalmajors and 10 to 12 years of IT or years of SAP implementation experiencespecific toSAP S4Module

Functional Skills:

Must-Have Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience in configuring and integrating all aspects of SAPS4 OTCsolutionsfor global deployments; focuson Billing and Output forms as Invoices, Pricing determination and mapping to Invoice data, Integration of Proforma Invoices to GTS Custom declarations. Outbound deliveriesand Copy controlto Proforma creation and custom datafieldsmapping andIntrastat Reporting.

• UnderstandOTC processeswithInvoicescustomizations.Experience with S/4HANABilling types and Invoice outputsformats and global templatedesignsandForeigntradeprocessin S4 to be integrated with GTS. 

• Demonstrated understanding ofExport control processand LegalRegulations as applicable in both S4andinGTSmodules.Background to include experience in SAP best practices forOTC processes on Ordermanagement, Shipping,Pricingand billing types. 

• Collaborate with integrated agile product teams to ensure seamless integration between SAPS4 OTCand other SAPS4modules (e.g.OTC, TM,FIandTax) and external systems. Perform mentoring to team members. 

• Ability to design and implement solutions based on business requirements, including debugging and root cause analysis. 

Good-to-Have Skills:

• Proficiency in S/4OTC and pricing and billing processes integrationwithGTS Customs management

• Good understanding of Cross functional interdependencies, S/4 Physical & Financial flow and S/4 Advance Intercompanyand changes impact onOTCmodule

• Experience working in an agile environment and familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban). 

• Knowledge in Master Data Governance tool (MDG). 

Professional Certifications:

• SAP Certified Application Associate in SAP OTC( OrdertoCash)  PreferredGTS  andComplianceexperience.  

• Agile Certified Practitioner (preferred)

• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
