ABOUT THE ROLE

In this vital role you willbe responsible forarchitecting, designing, andimplementationofSAP S/4HANAOrderto Cash solutions(Ordermanagement,Billing,Invoicemanagement,distributionandlogistics)across all the Amgen manufacturing and distribution sites.This role focuses on leveraging SAP technologies to streamline and enhanceOTCprocesses,ensuring alignment with business needs and industry best practices.As an SAP Solution architect, youwill work closely withoperationsIT andbusiness stakeholders to gather requirements,design,and configuresolutions, and provide post-implementation support.This position requires deepexpertisein SAPS/4 HANASales and Distributionwithagoodunderstanding ofSD integration withWM/EWM,TMand Shipping functionalities.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Design, configuration, andimplementationofSAP S/4 HANAOTC processes(Ordermanagement,billing, invoice management,distributionandlogistics)

• Ensure seamless integration between SAPSDAdvancedIntercompany (AIC)and other SAP modules (MM, FI, PP, TM,ATTP,GTS, EAS,Vistexand EWM)as well as third-party systems

• Conduct architectural reviews and assessments toidentifypotential risks and recommend mitigation strategies 

• Creation and maintenanceofcriticaldocumentation such astechnicalassessments, configuration specs,functional designs, test cases, and user manuals. Ensure compliance withpharmaceuticalindustry standards and regulations.

• Participate in ERPimplementation projectsas part of the physical financial product team, including blueprinting, gap analysis, testing, go-live, and post-production support.

• Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives to deliver and sustain Amgen's S/4HANA ecosystemutilizingthe Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)

• Develop innovative solutions that drive speed to value via AI/ML and leadingpractices

Basic Qualifications and Experience:

• Doctorate degree OR 

• Master’s degree in computer science or STEM majors and 4 to 6 years of SAPimplementationexperience in SAP S/4SDOR 

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or STEM majors and 6 to 8years of SAPimplementation experience in SAP S/4SDOR 

• Diploma in computer science or STEM majors and 10 to 12 years of IT oryears of SAPimplementation experience in SAP S/4SD

Functional Skills:

Must-Have Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience in configuring and customizing sales(advanced intercompany), delivery & billing document types and Item categories,schedule line Categories,contracts and pricing, ATP, output determination,Text Determination,credit Management,withInter and Intra company STO’s.

• Experience with S/4HANA Advance intercompany STO and Sales process

• Strong understanding ofGlobal trader service, distribution andlogics,warehouse managementprocess. 

• Ability to design and implement solutions based on business requirements, includingdebugging and root cause analysis.

• Experience in creating detailed documentation, including functional specifications, test cases, and compliance reports.

• Ability to test Function Module,BAPIsand knowledge on ABAP Debugging 

Good-to-Have Skills:

• Knowledge ofTransportation management and ATTP. 

• Experience withintegrating SAPS/4SD with other SAP modules likeSales force, Vistex, ModelNandATTP. 

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies for software delivery and process improvement.

• Business Partner setup including Partner group,roleand relationship mapping 

• KnowledgeinFinancial Supply Chain Management (FSCM) 

• Knowledge in Master Data Governance tool (MDG) 

• Good Knowledge in Fiori Apps 

Professional Certifications:

• SAP Certified Application AssociateinSAPS/4 Hana Sales and Distribution 

• Agile Certified Practitioner (preferred)
