ABOUT THE ROLE

Role Description:

In this role, you will design, build and deliver Front-end solutions that support Contracting Operations and Revenue Management platforms. Your work will focus on developing front end components for workflow automation, API integrations and AI-enabled capabilities that reduce manual effort, improve data quality and increase process efficiency.

You will partner with business, product, architecture and engineering teams to translate operational problems into scalable solutions. This is a hands-on engineering role with ownership from technical design through implementation, integration, testing and stabilization.

You will operate within a defined problem space, partnering with senior leaders to shape solution approaches and guide implementation across a small team. You will make design and implementation decisions within your scope, aligned to broader architectural direction. This is a hands-on role with end-to-end ownership from design through delivery while actively building and implementing solutions.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Design, build and optimize intuitive, responsive and high-performing front-end interfaces for AI-enabled applications using React and JavaScript/TypeScript, ensuring seamless user experiences across devices and browsers.
• Enable seamless data flow by integrating React-based frontends with Node.js APIs and leveraging Databricks as the middleware platform for scalable data processing and orchestration.
• Lead frontend engineering efforts by driving architecture decisions, evaluating existing systems and identifying complexities and risks to ensure successful delivery.
• Leverage AI-driven capabilities to enhance frontend experiences, including intelligent UI personalization, conversational interfaces and real-time insights powered by LLMs.
• Partner closely with UX designers, product managers, QA, business stakeholders and engineering teams to translate requirements, wireframes and prototypes into scalable, production-ready solutions.
• Define and implement scalable state management and UI architecture patterns (e.g., Redux, modular design, micro-frontends) to ensure maintainable and high-performing frontend applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve UI performance, stability, and usability issues while staying current with emerging front-end technologies, frameworks and industry trends.
• Collaborate with architecture, AI platform teams and cross-functional partners to align solutions with enterprise standards.
• Provide guidance through design reviews, code reviews and implementation support.
• Own delivery from design through stabilization, driving measurable improvements.

Technology Focus Areas:

• Architect modern frontend solutions using component-driven frameworks.
• Translate UI/UX designs into high-quality, production-ready implementations.
• Design and build responsive and high-performing user interfaces using React and JavaScript/TypeScript across devices and browsers.
• Integrate Node.js services and LLM APIs for backend application functionality to build intelligent and scalable solutions.
• Utilize enterprise platforms such as Salesforce, Conga CLM/CPQ, Model N, Databricks and Anaplan to deliver integrated solutions.

Basic Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree and 8-12 years of experience

• 4+ years of experience building scalable, responsive web applications using React.js and modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks.
• Strong hands-on experience integrating front-end applications with Node.js services and Databricks-based APIs for backend and data workflows.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
• Developing cross-browser, cross-platform applications that ensure consistent performance, usability and seamless user experience.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native development practices.
• Deep understanding of React fundamentals, including components, hooks, lifecycle and state management patterns.
• Strong foundation in JavaScript, DOM manipulation, data structures and algorithms, with a focus on performance and usability.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experienced with API integrations, Databricks, LLM APIs, serverless, microservices and event-driven architecture.
• Experience in technologies like server-side rendering and MFE's.
• Experience in design and implementation of new architecture and re-usable patterns.
• Expertise in React.js, including hooks, context API and lifecycle methods.
• Experience with TypeScript, Redux and testing libraries like Jest or React Testing.
• Experience working in Agile or iterative development environments.
• Demonstrated progression in taking on increasingly complex technical tasks within a team setting.
