Software Development Test Engineer II - Salesforce

The role will cater in the capacity ofAutomation Tester, whois asenior individual contributorresponsible for designing, building, andmaintainingend‑to‑endautomated test solutionsusingCopado Robotic Testing (CRT)for Salesforce applications.
This role actively ensuresrelease quality, andmentorsjunior testers while collaborating closely with Developers, DevOps, and Product teams.

Test Automation & Design

• Design, develop, andmaintainautomated test cases using Copado Robotic Testing (CRT)for Salesforce applications

• Createend‑to‑endUI, regression, smoke, and integration testscovering complex business flows

• Convert manual test cases and business steps intorobust automated test scripts

• Ensure test scripts arereusable, maintainable, and scalable

CI/CD & DevOps Integration

• Integrate CRT test execution intoCopadoor GITCI/CD pipelines

• Implement and supportautomated quality gatesbefore deployments

• Analyse test execution results and failures within pipeline runs

• Supportparallel executionand optimise test execution time

Test Execution & Quality Assurance

• Execute automated test suites across different Salesforce environments

• Performroot cause analysisfor automation and functional failures

• Log, track, and verify defects in collaboration with development teams

• Ensure high test coverage with minimal maintenance effort

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

• Work closely with Developers, Admins, Business Analysts, and DevOps teams

• Participate insprint planning, grooming, and release readinessactivities

• Provide clear test status, risk assessment, and quality metrics

• Guide junior testers on CRT best practices and automation standards

Technical Skills

• Copado Robotic Testing (CRT)– stronghands‑onexperience

• Salesforce application testing (Lightning, flows, objects, integrations)

• Understanding ofCopadoOrGIT DevOps/ CI/CD pipelines

• Automation testing concepts: regression, smoke,end‑to‑end,data‑driventesting

• Test design techniques and defect lifecycle

Functional & Domain Skills

• Ability to understand complex business processes and workflows

• Strong analytical andproblem‑solvingskills

• Experience working inAgile/Scrumenvironments

• Excellent communication and documentation skills

Nice‑to‑HaveSkills

• CRT AI features (self‑healing, smart execution,TestAgentexposure)

• Salesforce DevOps tools (Copado Plan, Git, Jira, Azure DevOps, etc.)

• API testing and integration validation

• Previousexperience mentoring or leading small automation efforts

Certifications (Preferred)

• Copado Robotic Testing Certification

• Salesforce Administrator or Platform App Builder (plus)

Education Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s /master’s degree and 5-9 years of Computer Science,ITor related field experience, including 4+ years in automation 

• 2+ years ofhands‑onexperience with Copado Robotic Testing (CRT)
