ABOUT THE ROLE
Role Description:
The role is responsible for leading and charting the course for the Global Supply Chain Physical and Financial Flow Domain consisting of Global Trade and Tolling business capabilities. Physical Financial Flow Solutions Lead will drive end-to-end solution design, implementation, and optimization of financial and trade flow processes. This role requires deep expertise in SAP Global Trade System (GTS), Tolling operations, and strong business analyst and client-facing skills to bridge the gap between IT and business stakeholders. The candidate will lead cross-functional initiatives, ensure seamless integration of trade, supply chain, finance, accounting and operational processes while enable compliance and efficiency in global operations.
The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in OTC (Order to Cash), RTR (Record To Report) and PTS (Plan To Stock) processes as well as SAP ECC, S/4, GTS, SAP TM, SAP EWM Systems in Pharmaceuticals domain, with strong technical background, business analysis and client-facing skills to translate requirements into scalable, reliable solutions.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and delivery of Physical Financial Flow (PFF) solutions across global trade and tolling operations.
- Act as the primary solution owner for Tolling processes, ensuring alignment with global business and compliance requirements.
- Oversee end-to-end implementation of PFF solutions, including integration of Supply Chain, Finance, Accounting and Tax as well as related SAP ERP Systems.
- Partner with business teams to gather, analyze, and prioritize requirements related to financial flows, tolling, and trade compliance.
- Drive tolling process design for raw material sourcing, conversion, and settlement flows, ensuring transparency and accuracy in financial reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with global trade regulations by leveraging SAP GTS functionalities (import/export management, customs, compliance, and embargo checks).
- Lead efforts in standardization and harmonization of trade and tolling processes across multiple geographies.
- Ensure adoption of AI driven tools and collaborating with business to identify AI driven use cases.
- Collaborate with geographically dispersed teams, including those in the US and other international locations.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for business stakeholders, understanding needs, gathering requirements, and providing thought leadership.
- Conduct workshops, stakeholder interviews, and requirements-gathering sessions to capture functional and compliance needs to be maintained and prioritized in a Product Backlog.
- Translate complex technical capabilities into business-friendly language, facilitating alignment across IT and business functions.
- Partner with Supply Chain, Finance, Accounting, and Tax teams to ensure serialization solutions drive measurable business value.
- Maintain system documentation, business process workflows, and compliance reporting.
- Ensure cross-team alignment and manage risks, escalations, and interdependencies.
- Work with Operation Team to ensure proper Serialization system monitoring, identify improvement opportunities, and drive continuous optimization.
- Lead vendor and partner relationships, ensuring quality delivery and alignment with business objectives.
- Build and maintain relationships across IT, business units, and enterprise leadership to align strategy and execution.
- Provide guidance, mentoring, and knowledge-sharing across IT and business analyst teams.
Basic Qualifications and Experience:
- Any Degree and 12 - 17 years of experience in Business, Engineering, IT or related field
Functional Skills:
Must-Have Skills:
- Demonstrated experience with at least 8 years focused SAP GTS, SAP ECC/S-4 and tolling processes within a global enterprise environment.
- Strong knowledge of SAP ERP (ECC/S4), OTC, RTR, PTS related Finance/Accounting/Supply chain processes.
- Deep understanding of Supply Chain Product physical flows, financial flows, trade compliance, customs management, and import/export processes.
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical/life sciences processes and business requirements.
- Proven track record as a technical lead guiding team to achieve business requirements.
- Excellent facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Good-to-Have Skills:
- Experience in a leadership role within a pharmaceutical or technology organization
- Extensive experience in software development lifecycle.
- Strong analytic/critical-thinking and decision-making abilities.

Shift Information:
