What you will do
As the ODA Product Owner, you will lead the prioritization and delivery of data and analytics platform capabilities that support scalable data access, governed analytics, and AI-enabled use cases across Process Development. You will partner closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, architects, product teams, and end users to define platform needs and turn them into valuable, usable, and sustainable solutions.
This role requires end-to-end accountability for a defined product area. The successful candidate will independently determine approach, manage multiple priorities, balance near-term delivery with long-term platform direction, and contribute to improvements in processes and ways of working.
Job Requirements
Define and evolve the product vision, roadmap, and backlog for data and analytics platform capabilities.
Partner with business, scientific, analytics, and technology stakeholders to identify opportunities that improve data accessibility, insight generation, and decision support.
Convert business and user needs into features, user stories, and acceptance criteria for Agile delivery teams.
Prioritize platform enhancements, data products, integrations, and operational improvements based on business value, risk, and dependencies.
Collaborate with engineering and architecture teams to ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with enterprise standards.
Drive UAT, business validation, and release readiness for platform capabilities and enhancements.
Monitor product performance, usage patterns, stakeholder feedback, and delivery outcomes to inform continuous improvement.
Support adoption of new capabilities through training, communication, and stakeholder engagement.
Help define effective product management practices, governance touchpoints, and metrics for success.
Identify and mitigate delivery risks, dependency issues, and adoption barriers early.
Basic Qualifications
Doctorate OR
Master's degree and 3 years of relevant experience OR
Bachelor's degree and 5 years of relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications
Experience owning or supporting data, analytics, or digital platform products in a complex enterprise environment.
Strong understanding of data platforms, data pipelines, metadata, governance, and analytics workflows.
Experience with cloud data ecosystems such as Databricks, Redshift, Snowflake, or similar platforms.
Familiarity with SQL, APIs, structured and unstructured data, and modern analytics tooling.
Experience working with AI, machine learning, or generative AI-enabled workflows.
Demonstrated success partnering across business, technical, and delivery teams.
Strong product management, prioritization, and Agile delivery capabilities.
Ability to synthesize feedback from multiple stakeholders and turn it into clear, actionable backlog decisions.
Experience in biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, or other regulated industries preferred.
