Associate Director Business Performance (Results Delivery Office)
What you will do

In this vital role, the Associate Director Business Performance RDO (Results Delivery Office) will be accountable for scaling and operating the digital and operational infrastructure that enables Amgen’s enterprise-wide transformation efforts. Based within Amgen’s India capability hub, this leader will manage Amgen’s change management platforms that provide global impact across functions and geographies.
Reporting to the Head of Results Delivery Office Capabilities, the role translates enterprise transformation strategy into scalable operating models, digitized toolkits, AI-enabled solutions, governance processes, and clear execution standards.
This role serves as the business owner for Amgen’s digital change management platform and leads the implementation and scaling of AI- and LLM-enabled solutions to enhance process insight, adoption, and execution productivity.
The Associate Director will partner closely with the Technology organization to convert defined transformation requirements into scalable product roadmaps aligned with enterprise architecture, data, and security standards.
In addition, this role will serve as a people leader for a team of direct reports and as the local RDO leader for transformation team members based in India whose managers sit in other global locations, ensuring alignment, delivery rigor, and operational excellence.
The ideal candidate brings a strong change management mindset and experience scaling high-performing teams and technology-enabled infrastructure in a global, matrixed environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead RDO Change Capability Development
- Own and continuously enhance Amgen’s digital change management platforms, toolkits and standards.
- Establish and evolve scalable frameworks for change management capability program governance, realization measurement, and delivery rigor.
- Ensure consistent, high-quality application of digital methodologies across global transformation programs.
Technology & Digital Product Ownership
- Lead digital change management product strategy, roadmap and adoption, owning innovation via user-centric design, voice of customer loops, experimentation; Define and track north star metrics for value realization
- Serve as business owner for the enterprise digital change platform (Tigerhall), establishing adoption strategy, governance, performance metrics, and operating standards.
- Lead the implementation and scaling of AI- and LLM-enabled solutions to enhance process insight, accelerate change adoption, and improve execution productivity.
- Partner closely with the Technology organization to translate transformation requirements into scalable product roadmaps aligned with enterprise architecture, data, and security standards.
- Establish clear prioritization and release management processes to ensure disciplined delivery and measurable impact.
- Build and lead internal product management capability over time, including hiring and developing dedicated platform owners as scale increases.
- Track and refine capability-level KPIs (quality, speed, adoption, value realization) to measure performance and maturity.
- Implement feedback loops to continuously refine tools and processes.
- Integrate platform performance metrics and usage analytics into transformation reporting to drive adoption, capability maturity, and continuous improvement.
Talent Leadership & Capability Scaling
- Lead and develop a team of transformation professionals, fostering high performance and accountability.
- Design and implement clear career pathways, training programs, and coaching frameworks to strengthen execution capability and delivery quality.
- Strengthen and scale the RDO digital capabilities as technology-enabled priorities evolve.
- Provide matrix leadership to globally distributed teams responsible for process analytics, performance standards, and executive reporting.

Basic Qualifications:
Master’s degree and 16 years of experience in consulting, transformation, operational excellence, capability build, technology-enabled operations, or related disciplines
OR
Bachelor’s degree and 18 years of experience in consulting, transformation, operational excellence, capability build, technology-enabled operations, or related disciplines
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA from a leading institute preferred; engineering/technical undergraduate strongly preferred.
- Background in top-tier consulting, product/platform operations, transformation, or internal strategy
- Experience building or significantly scaling transformation, change, or operational excellence functions within a global organization.
- Demonstrated success establishing governance frameworks, performance standards, and delivery infrastructure that enable scalable execution.
- Experience standing up or maturing a center of excellence, global capability hub, or shared services organization.
- Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional operations with clear performance metrics and accountability.
- Experience defining and managing KPIs and performance dashboards at scale.
- Strong track record of translating strategy into repeatable operating models and measurable business outcomes.
- Experience embedding automation, analytics, AI, or workflow platforms into enterprise operations.
- Demonstrated ability to lead in a matrixed global environment and influence without direct authority.
- Experience building and developing high-performing, globally distributed teams.
- Strong ownership mindset with the ability to drive operational rigor and sustained performance improvement.
