In this vital role We are seeking a visionary and technically strong A Software Engineering - Data Application Support Engineer primarily provides technical support for software applications, focusing on data-related aspects, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. They diagnose and resolve issues, collaborate with development teams, and manage data integrity within the applications
Application Support:
Providing first-line technical support for software applications, including troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving issues related to data and functionality.
Data Management:
Ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and availability within the applications, including data validation, cleansing, and migration tasks.
Performance Monitoring:
Monitoring application performance and health, identifying potential issues related to data processing and storage.
Root Cause Analysis:
Investigating and identifying the root causes of application and data-related problems, collaborating with development teams to implement solutions.
Collaboration:
Working closely with development, operations, and other teams to resolve issues, implement changes, and improve application performance.
Documentation:
Creating and maintaining documentation related to application support procedures, troubleshooting steps, and data management processes.
Incident Management:
Acting as a point of contact for incident management, diagnosing and resolving issues within a global support structure.
Problem Management:
Identifying and remediating the root cause of complex issues affecting service delivery.
Disaster Recovery:
Participating in disaster recovery testing and documentation.
Patch Management:
Performing maintenance of operating systems and application patches.
Application Deployment and Updates:
Assisting with application deployments and updates, ensuring data integrity during these processes.
User Support:
Providing training and support documentation for end-users, particularly regarding data-related aspects of the application
Basic Qualifications:
Master’s degree in in Computer Science, Software Engineering Application Support, or a related technical field with 7-11 years of software development experience OR,
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field with 9-13 years of software development experience
7+ years of experience in software engineering Application support on Enterprise Applications
Technical Proficiency:
Strong understanding of software development principles, data management concepts, and database technologies (e.g., Databricks, PosgresSQL, NoSQL).
Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving:
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
Communication Skills:
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, for collaborating with various teams and providing support to end-users.
Collaboration and Teamwork:
Ability to work effectively within a team, collaborating with developers, operations, and other stakeholders.
Attention to Detail:
Keen attention to detail, especially when dealing with data integrity and system configurations.
Scripting and Automation:
Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., React,Java/Node Js ,) for automating tasks and improving efficiency.
Cloud Technologies:
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is often beneficia
Hands on experience on data platform, software programming languages
Strong problem solving, analytical skills; Ability to learn quickly; Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in, databricks, Mongo DB, S3 Buckets, React, Java/Node Js, Python, , React
Experienced with API integration, serverless, microservices architecture.
Experienced with AWS /Azure Platform, Building an deploying the code
Experience in Agile software development methodologies

Willingness to work on AI applications
Experience working in regulated industries (ideally pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare).
Experience with popular large language models
Experience with Langchain or llamaIndex framework for language models
Experience with prompt engineering, model fine tuning
Knowledge of NLP techniques for text analysis and sentiment analysis
experience with streaming technologies like Kafka
