Marketing Manager / Congress and Brand Operations Manager

What you will do

The Congress and Brand Operations Manager - KRYSTEXXA is responsible for driving operational excellence across brand initiatives and congress execution. This role ensures seamless coordination between internal customers and external partners while maintaining a strong focus on budget management, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate will bring strong project management skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude to support the successful delivery of brand strategies and initiatives

Key Responsibilities –

  • Congress Management: Oversee planning, logistics, and execution of congresses in collaboration with brand and field teams. Manage associated budgets and vendor relationships to ensure high-quality delivery
  • Brand Strategy Support: Partner with cross-functional team to contribute to the development and execution of brand strategies and key initiatives
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor brand initiatives, including alerts, IVA, and brand plan metrics. Provide reporting and insights to ensure accountability and progress
  • Process Improvement & Project Management: Develop, document, and refine operational procedures. Lead or support ad-hoc projects to improve efficiency and alignment across the brand
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Serve as a key liaison between cross-brand marketing teams, finance, regulatory, compliance, and external vendors to ensure alignment and smooth execution of activities
  • Materials Approval & Compliance (MAC) Process: Partner with Legal, Regulatory, and Medical teams to manage the Materials Approval and Compliance (MAC) process, securing timely approval of resources while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment with brand strategy

Basic Qualifications:

  • Doctorate degree

Or

  • Master’s degree and 2 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization

Or

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 4 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization

Or

  • Associate’s Degree and 8 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization

Or

  • High school diploma / GED and 10 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Managed operations of national and regional conferences
  • Background in marketing or selling to rheumatology and nephrology specialists, with preferred experience in the gout disease state
  • Strong analytical and data-driven attitude with proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Self-starter that is assertive, possesses a high degree of self-confidence and intellectual curiosity
  • Proven ability to identify/define business questions and issues and develop strategic, analytical and financial frameworks to conduct analysis
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of management
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently under aggressive timelines in a dynamic environment
  • Comfortable working across functional areas (ex. Regulatory, Legal, Finance, Operations, etc.) and at varying levels of the organization
  • Strong organizational skills: Essential for managing multiple projects and responsibilities
  • Analytical skills: Necessary for tracking and analyzing data, and for identifying areas for improvement
  • Communication skills: To effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate with collaborators
  • Project management skills: For managing projects from start to finish and ensuring that they are completed on time and within budget
  • Knowledge of marketing technology: Including AI, CRM systems, marketing automation platforms, and other tools
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team: To effectively manage projects and responsibilities
  • Requires approximately 30-40% travel, including some overnight and weekend commitments

The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is posted. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
