HEALTH ECONOMICS AND OUTCOMES RESEARCH SENIOR MANAGER (ONCOLOGY)

What you will do

In this vital global role you will execute HEOR strategy in alignment with the Access Strategy Lead (ASL), supporting one or more assets across the lifecycle management. You will be responsible for delivering key outputs in close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Generate global-impact payer-relevant evidence, patient reported outcomes (PRO), clinical outcomes assessment strategy (COA) and evidence synthesis.
  • Develop and deliver global core materials for Health Technology Assessment (HTA) submissions, including the Global Value Dossier (GVD) and economic models.
  • Translate strategic objectives into concrete execution via HEOR project plan.
  • Partner with the ASL, Global Access Team, top-10 countries (including the U.S.), and cross-functional teams to align on HEOR strategy and execution.
  • Ensuring compliance with HTA dossier governance.
  • Engage with vendors and external experts to support and validate HEOR strategy and methodologies.

You would be joining Amgen’s global HEOR team, part of the Global Value & Access organization. The global HEOR team has staff located around the world working hand in hand with cross-functional teams and top-10 countries to unlock patient access to Amgen medicines.

What we expect of you

We are all different, yet we all use our unique contributions to serve patients. What we seek in you as an experienced  professional, are these qualifications and skills:

  • Degree in a relevant field with formal or on-the-job training in health economics.
  • Strong experience in economic modeling and indirect treatment comparisons.
  • Proven ability to develop payer-relevant evidence, including RWE, and author protocols and publications.
  • Experience designing PRO/COA strategies.
  • Expertise in evidence synthesis, including SLRs, ITCs, and meta-analyses.
  • Solid strategic and technical understanding of HTA requirements.
  • Experience developing GVDs, AMCP dossiers, economic models, and predictive analytics.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence Access strategy through HEOR insights.
  • U.S. market and oncology experience is a plus.
