Sr. Associate - Antibody Discovery and Screening (12-month contract)

We are seeking a highly motivated early-career scientist to join our High-throughput Screening team within Biologics Discovery. This individual will contribute to a collaborative and innovative group dedicated to advancing novel antibody-based therapeutics for serious diseases. The team specializes in high-throughput screening assays and platforms, nanofluidic technologies, and automated liquid handling systems.

The ideal candidate will possess strong laboratory skills, a deep scientific curiosity, and a team-first mindset. Responsibilities include the design, optimization, and implementation of screening strategies to support the discovery and development of therapeutic molecules.

  • Plan, develop, and execute screening assays to identify and characterize monoclonal antibodies, supporting therapeutic molecule and early-stage discovery programs
  • Facilitate project progression by managing collaborations with CROs, ensuring timely execution of deliverables and alignment with discovery achievements
  • Use of laboratory techniques such as: mammalian cell culture and transfection, ELISA, flow cytometry, fluorescence imaging
  • Use of laboratory equipment such as: imaging systems, flow cytometers, liquid handlers
  • Play a critical role on project teams, frequently engaging and discussing data across functional groups
  • Critical evaluation and presentation of experimental data

Basic Qualifications:

Master's degree or Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences and 2 years of experience in one or more antibody discovery technologies

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years’ experience in one or more antibody discovery technologies (e.g. hybridoma, display platforms, single-B cell recovery etc.)
  • Experienced in collaborating with CROs to advance project timelines and ensure achievement alignment
  • Proven ability to engage and influence diverse audiences across all organizational levels with strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Knowledge of high throughput methods and assay development to support biologic molecule screening
  • Mammalian tissue culture; primary cell culture skills an asset
  • Advanced scientific analysis skills and an ability to collaborate effectively
  • Experience in a role requiring strong problem solving and scientific skills

The salary range for this position is $91,913 - $113,134.
