Supply Chain Head Argentina

What you will do

Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Accountable to local management team for End-to-End Supply Chain service delivery (from To-The-Market Shipments to Delivery to First Economic Customer) for affiliate.
  • Effective orchestration of global SC service hub and international quality functions to support requirements the unique value chains of the local affiliate.
  • Responsible for all Coordinated Business Planning (IBP) processes at the affiliate level and in support of LATAM region. Including S&OP, Demand and Supply Planning, Materials Planning and Inventory Management; owns Finished Goods inventory in market and ensures adequate shelf-life and avoidance of inventory scrap due to demand variation.
  • Support commercial expansion strategy by applying the supply chain knowledge, skills, tools and techniques of project management and Operational Excellence.
  • Work closely with local Quality and Regulatory Leads, Regional Operations Lead(s) and Business Development area to support new products introduction and uninterrupted supply during life-cycle management events.
  • Accountable for Customer Service activities to ensure effective and timely delivery to first economic customers
  • Accountable for GMP compliance and effective execution of importation, warehousing and distribution to first economic customers
  • Apply Operational Excellence and LEAN framework to drive continuous improvement and optimize Supply Chain health as measured by Planning, LCM, CS & Logistics Key Performance Indicators.
  • Build strong network within Local, Regional and Global Supply Chain Teams.
  • Develop high quality tools and templates to support effective operation of the department.
  • Leverage industry partnerships and consortium's to identify and implement standard processes.
  • Translate Regional Operations strategy into specific country objectives and action plans.

What we expect of you

Basic Qualifications:

  • Doctorate degree and 2 years of experience in similar positions on a big pharmaceutical company Or
  • Master’s degree and 6 years of experience in similar positions on a big pharmaceutical company Or
  • Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of experience in similar positions on a big pharmaceutical company Or
  • Associate’s degree and 10 years of experience in similar positions on a big pharmaceutical company Or
  • High school diploma / GED and 12 years of experience in similar positions on a big pharmaceutical company and in addition to meeting at least one of the above requirements, you must have a minimum of 2 years experience directly managing people and/or leadership experience leading teams, projects, programs, or advising the allocation or resources. Your managerial experience may run concurrently with the required technical experience referenced above
  • Primary language Spanish, but proficient in English (both in oral and written communication)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Logistics, or Business Management.
  • Advanced studies in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, or knowledge by experience in these areas with a proven ability in Supply Chain and Life-Cycle Management.
  • Extensive experience and success in handling impactful teams in a matrix organizational structure
  • Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in Customer Service, Logistics, Transportation, and/or Warehousing.
  • GMP and GDP knowledge and understanding of bio/pharmaceutical regulations and business principles.

Competencies

  • SAP S4 Hana / Rapid Response.
  • Integrated Business Planning (IBP) principles.
  • Ability to understand financial statements.
  • Understanding of the legal issues involved in leading contracts, e-business / e-procurement systems and cross-cultural / global issues.
  • Business ethics.
  • Management of 3rd party local Logistics Service Provider (LSP)
  • Leadership.
