Utilities Maintenance Engineer

WHAT YOU WILL DO
As a Utilities Maintenance Engineer, you play a key role in ensuring the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of the critical utility systems that support our manufacturing, warehousing, and offices. You'll work with systems such as HVAC, refrigeration, compressed air, chilled water, boilers, and building automation systems within a modern, highly automated pharmaceutical manufacturing facility.
As our site continues to expand and invest in new capabilities, these systems play an increasingly important role in supporting future growth. Working closely with technicians, vendors, and site stakeholders, you'll coordinate and plan maintenance activities, provide technical support, and help ensure our utility systems remain available, compliant, and ready to support site operations.
In this role, you will:
Coordinate and plan maintenance activities, shutdowns, and contractor support for utility systems and facility infrastructure.
Provide technical expertise and troubleshooting support for complex utility-related issues.
Optimize maintenance plans, schedules, and work execution processes.
Manage vendor relationships and coordinate external service providers.
Support utility-related projects, equipment upgrades, commissioning activities, and implementation of new technologies.
Collaborate with maintenance technicians and operations teams to improve system performance and maintenance effectiveness.
Participate in the on-call rotation supporting critical utility systems.

WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent technical experience.
Experience in maintenance engineering, utilities, facilities engineering, or industrial maintenance.
Experience with utility systems such as HVAC, refrigeration, compressed air, chilled water, boilers, or similar infrastructure.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication skills in English and the ability to work effectively with a variety of stakeholders.
Experience with CMMS platform and administrative tasks, preferably in a highly regulated industry.
