What you will do

As an Overviewer / Team Lead, you will coordinate and carry out the workload of the Production Work Order (PWO) picking team. You will coach and mentor team members and support Warehouse Operations management in solving operational issues.

Working in shifts, you will help ensure the continuous supply of materials to ABR’s production lines by overseeing and performing PWO picking activities in close collaboration with the Production Central Preparation (CP) team, which is part of the broader Warehouse Operations organization.

You will help ensure that all work is carried out safely and in compliance with applicable GMP requirements and procedures. With a continuous improvement mindset, you will act as the go-to team lead on your shift, helping to maintain supply and adherence to the operational plan.

In this vital role, you will:

• Ensure daily adherence to the PWO operational plan by helping the CP team and production lines receive the materials they need, on time and in full, to start production as scheduled.
• Organize, coordinate, and oversee activities within PWO and, where needed, other processes or teams across Warehouse Operations.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities within PWO and other supporting Warehouse Operations processes.
• Participate in, support, and advise on interviews for potential new temporary or flexible workers joining the PWO or CP teams.
• Coach and mentor team members on the shop floor.
• Work with fellow Overviewers and supporting departments to identify and resolve operational issues, and implement suitable solutions that help ensure business continuity.
• Co-host or lead PWO or CP team huddles and shift handovers.
• Act as a subject matter expert (SME) and provide advice to Warehouse Operations managers.

We are all different, yet we all use our unique contributions to serve patients. The Sr. Material Coordinator we’re looking for is a collaborative, organized, and adaptable professional with the following qualifications:

• MBO-level education in a relevant field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• More than three years of experience in logistics, operations, or manufacturing.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Working knowledge of SAP, warehouse management systems, and/or MES.
• Experience in an Overviewer or Team Lead role, including coordinating and delegating workloads and tasks.
• Willingness and ability to work the required shift schedule.
• Fluency in Dutch and English.

Please note:

This position primarily follows an early/late shift pattern from Monday to Friday. Once every five weeks, you will work five day shifts, including Saturday and Sunday.
