At Amgen Breda, medicines are labeled, assembled, stored, and shipped to countries around the world. Every day, more than 1,000 colleagues from over 40 nationalities contribute to supply chain operations, manufacturing, marketing and sales of our medicines, and clinical research into new therapies.

What you will do
In this role, you are a key member of our Maintenance department, ensuring the reliability and performance of our modern semi- and fully automated packaging, labeling and assembly equipment. You will also support warehousing and facility systems that enable smooth site operations.
As a Senior Maintenance Technician, you combine hands-on technical expertise with analytical problem-solving. You take ownership of complex maintenance activities, use data to identify improvement opportunities, and contribute to increasing equipment reliability and operational performance.
Your work directly supports the uninterrupted supply of medicines to patients around the world.

In this role, you will:
- Perform maintenance and technical analysis on a wide range of machines and systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical, electrical, and mechatronic issues.
- Work closely with Production and Quality teams to prioritize and resolve technical challenges.
- Support the introduction of new equipment, including commissioning and mechanical validation.
- Share your expertise by coaching and training colleagues on the shop floor.
- Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability and strengthen preventive maintenance strategies.

What we expect from you
To succeed in this role, you bring the following:
- MBO-level education, either through formal training or relevant work experience.
- Hands-on experience in a maintenance environment.
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and mechatronic systems, with a willingness to learn more.
- A team mindset and strong communication skills in English (Dutch is a plus).
- Interest in continuous improvement, Lean thinking, and new technologies.
- Preferably, experience with GMP or similar regulated environments.
- Work in shift roster.
