At Amgen Breda, medicines are labelled, assembled, stored and shipped to various countries worldwide. More than 1000 people with 42 nationalities contribute daily to supply chain operations, manufacturing, commercial activities and clinical research.

What you will do

In this vital operational role, you will be responsible for ensuring a stable and feasible short‑term supply plan. You will manage the Detailed Schedule of production orders and oversee short‑and mid- term capacity planning, working closely with Production, QA, Warehouse and the Region. Your work will include preparing and owning the frozen/firmed window, checking component availability, and ensuring all materials and  capacity are aligned for flawless execution.

You will collaborate with regional teams to safeguard market supply, act promptly on deviations, and contribute to Class A MPS adherence. You will also, facilitate the daily SQDIP meeting and weekly capacity meetings, facilitate scrap activities and follow up on flowstoppers in the day to day processes.

In addition to your core planning responsibilities, you will support product launches by providing planning input. You will also play an active role in operational excellence initiatives, conducting weekly and monthly analyses and proposing improvement actions based on KPI performance.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining a feasible, efficient short‑term production schedule and capacity outlook
  • Owning and coordinating your lines in terms of feasibility and efficiency, ensuring supply.
  • Coordinating cross‑functional alignment for production plans and ensure on time deliveries.
  • Providing planning support for product launches and short‑term improvement projects
  • Owning KPI reporting and delivering analysis-driven recommendations

Qualifications

You bring a background that enables you to navigate complex supply chain environments with confidence. Specifically, you have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree or Master degree in Supply Chain, Logistics or Business Administration.
  • Experience with SAP, particularly within Plan‑to‑Stock, Inventory Management and Capacity Planning.
  • Strong command of MS Office tools (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word), Smartsheet, Power Bi and Tableau
  • Fluency in Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
  • Experience in project management and familiarity with Lean, JIT, Six Sigma, FMEA or RCA methodologies.
  • A solid understanding of GMP requirements and experience in pharmaceutical or other regulated industries.
  • Experience working in an international, complex organizational environment.
