Ready to turn curiosity into innovation? This is your chance to shape the future of automated packaging.

At Amgen, we’re driven by one powerful mission: to serve patients. Every improvement we make in our systems and technologies helps medicines reach people faster, safer and more efficiently. As a global biotechnology leader with ~28,000 colleagues worldwide and over 900 on our Breda site alone, we believe in empowering students to explore, experiment, and build what’s next.

With more than 40 nationalities under one roof, you’ll find yourself in a diverse, inspiring, and highly innovative environment — and now, we want you to be part of it.

LIVE

This could be your everyday

Join our Engineering department and dive into a highly technical and hands-on challenge: researching and developing a semi‑automated infeed solution for packaging equipment. If robotics, smart sensors, automation, prototyping, and cool gadgets make your heart beat faster… this internship is your playground.

Your mission will include:

  • Exploring the technical feasibility of a semi-automated infeed station
  • Assessing financial feasibility to support a business case
  • Designing and building a Proof of Concept using Amgen’s in-house resources — think robotics, cameras, 3D printers, and digital innovation tools
  • Presenting your findings and demo to real stakeholders

Yes, that’s right — you won’t just study the future of automation; you’ll build it.

Deliverables:

During your internship, you will deliver:

  • A well-structured technical & financial feasibility study
  • Documented research and validation outcomes
  • A working Proof of Concept prototype
  • A compelling stakeholder presentation summarizing results and next steps

This is your chance to combine engineering, creativity, and innovation into something tangible and impactful.
