Sr. Associate Supply Chain (Order Management) Bogotá

What you will do

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Execute and monitor customer and intercompany orders through shipment readiness and execution.
• Create, maintain, and follow up on sales orders (SO), stock transfer orders (STO), deliveries, and related transactions in SAP and applicable systems.
• Coordinate order and shipment readiness with Planning, Scheduling, Warehouse Operations, Transportation, regions/markets, and other cross-functional partners.
• Support carrier selection and freight booking activities in coordination with Transportation and Logistics Service Providers.
• Prepare, review, and coordinate shipment documentation and pre-alert communications with receiving markets and applicable stakeholders.
• Monitor open orders and shipments, identify potential delays or execution risks, and proactively follow up on pending actions.
• Support resolution and escalation of order and shipment exceptions, including customs holds, documentation issues, master-data issues, system issues, and other execution constraints.
• Maintain effective communication with regions/markets regarding order status, shipment readiness, changes, and issues requiring action.
• Support customer and master-data coordination when required for successful order execution.
• Maintain accurate and timely transactional data in SAP and applicable systems.
• Participate in operational meetings and communicate critical orders, shipment risks, priorities, and required actions.
• Support investigations and data gathering related to distribution events or complaints, while ensuring appropriate functional ownership is maintained.
• Follow established procedures, work instructions, and compliance requirements applicable to Order Management activities.
• Support process improvements, standardization initiatives, and development or maintenance of Order Management procedures and training materials.
• Develop basic operational metrics and reports using Excel or other available tools to support workload management and operational performance.

What we expect of you

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field and 6 months of experience in Order Management, Supply Chain, Logistics, Customer Service, or a related operational function within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, or another highly regulated healthcare industry.

• Advanced English is a mandatory requirement for this position and will be assessed throughout the interview process.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience using SAP or another ERP system to process or manage orders, shipments, inventory, or supply chain transactions.
• Experience using Excel and MS Office.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, follow up on time-sensitive activities, and communicate effectively across functions.
