Amgen in Switzerland
In Switzerland, Amgen established a Regional Hub in 1989, followed by the Swiss Affiliate in 2002.
You'll find Amgen's Swiss Affiliate, as well as our international Hub, who share close collaboration in the same office, based in the fast-developing city of Rotkreuz, Switzerland. Here, a team from more than 20 nationalities innovate together in their passion for serving patients.

Ways of Working: Amgen's Flexible Working Model
Amgen is a pioneer in terms of flexibility and the compatibility offered between work and private/family life. In 2021, we introduced the flexible working model. This means virtual first and purposeful presence in the office, and encourages going to the office for a specific purpose, not by default. The flexibility that began as a response to the pandemic, and which was quickly embraced as a way of working, has paved the way for more freedom and choice for our existing staff and new hires. This model has been well received, with the majority of our employees working in a hybrid capacity and stating they are likely to remain at Amgen due to the flexibility we provide. With our mission to serve patients as a North Star and a culture routed in trust, responsibility, and accountability, this provides our staff members the flexibility they need to strive at work and at home.
Named a "Great Place to Work"
Amgen Switzerland and the Regional Hub join the "Companies with 50 to 250 employees" category in the Great Place to Work® survey. This certification is appreciated by both employees and employers worldwide and is seen as the "gold standard" for identifying and recognizing Great Workplace cultures. Starting in 2025, Amgen Switzerland and Regional Hub will participate as one consolidate entity moving forward.

Swiss Affiliate
In the Swiss Affiliate includes departments such as Marketing and Sales, Regulatory Affairs, Finance, Quality, Safety, and Value, Access & Policy. A team of scientific employees is responsible for medical education, scientific congresses, and publications as well as clinical studies.
Regional Hub
The Regional Hub is the interface between our global headquarters in Thousand Oaks, California and our ELMAC (European, Latin America, Middle-East, Africa and Canada) country affiliates. The Regional Hub offers a variety of careers in several departments, e.g. Marketing, Medical, Value Access & Policy, Finance, Legal, Compliance and Human Resources.
