Amgen is committed to respecting your privacy. This Privacy Statement is designed to inform you about how we collect, use, and protect your personal information in accordance with applicable law when you apply for a job with Amgen or when you would like to join Amgen Talent Network.

PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT ABOUT YOU
We collect and process various types of personal information during the job application process or while you subscribe to join Amgen Talent Network. This includes:
- Contact Information (e.g. name, address, email, phone number).
- Employment history and qualifications (e.g. CV/resume, cover letter, references).
- Interview notes and assessment results.
- When you connect with us through social media: application site may link with social media platforms and social media plug-ins (e.g. the Facebook "like" button, "LinkedIn Share" button). When accessing information through a Social Media account, Amgen may (depending on the applicable user privacy settings) automatically have access to personal information provided to or through the Social Media platform.
- Any other information you choose to provide us during the application process (including follow up while you answer post-application surveys) or during your subscription to join Amgen Talent Network.
PURPOSE AND LEGAL BASIS FOR PROCESSING OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
a. Job Application Assessment: We use your personal information to assess your qualifications and suitability for the job position you applied for. This includes the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tool to assess your application. Any assessment made by the AI tool will be under human supervision and will be validated by our HR department. The legal basis for this processing is Amgen's legitimate interest in evaluating and selecting suitable candidates as well as Amgen's legitimate interest for the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims.
b. Communication: We may use your contact information to communicate with you regarding your application status, interviews, and other relevant information. We may use AI tool to help us to schedule interviews with you. The legal basis for this processing is Amgen's legitimate interest in managing the job application process effectively.
c. Feedback Request: We offer the possibility for job applicants to request feedback on the job selection process. The legal basis for this processing is Amgen's legitimate interest in managing the job application process effectively.
d. Joining our Talent Network: We offer the possibility for job applicants and other potential candidates to join our Amgen Talent Network by filling out a Talent Network Form and subscribing to newsletters. The legal basis for this processing is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
DATA RETENTION
We will retain your personal information for a period of 2 years after the conclusion of the job application process or 2 years after you unsubscribe to communications from our Talent Network, unless we have a legal obligation to retain it for a longer period or if you have provided your consent for further retention.
HOW YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION IS SHARED AND DISCLOSED
Your personal information may be shared with individuals within Amgen who are involved in the job application process or who will help with the administration of Amgen Talent Network. We also share your information with third-party service providers who assist us in conducting assessments or background checks, but only to the extent necessary for the purpose of the application process.
As part of a global company headquartered in the United States, your personal information in connection with your employment or the business of Amgen may be accessed, transferred and/or disclosed to or between Amgen affiliates or vendors outside of the country in which it was collected (e.g. personal information may be transferred to the United States where Amgen is headquartered).
When appropriate to support Amgen's management and administration, personal information held by Amgen may be disclosed to, transferred to, or collected and processed by, authorized third parties, specifically, Amgen affiliates or third-party vendors. For example, Amgen may contract with third parties to assist it in identifying activities that do not comply with Amgen policies, or that may otherwise violate regulatory requirements to which Amgen is subject.
