About the Program
The Operations Graduate Program (OGP) is designed to accelerate MBA and Dual Degree graduates into impactful Operations leadership roles at Amgen. Through a unique combination of challenging business experiences, executive exposure, mentorship, coaching, and tailored development opportunities, participants build the skills and network needed to drive meaningful business outcomes and grow as future leaders. Throughout the program, participants engage directly with senior leaders and key business stakeholders through virtual presentations, networking forums, and leadership discussions that provide visibility across the organization.

- Summer Internship: 10-13 weeks
- Mentorship: Across all of Operations, as well as a dedicated alumni buddy from OGP

Executive commitment
Our Senior Sponsors are pillars in the organization and are deeply invested in your success. You'll be assigned an executive-level leadership coach who advocates for and mentors you throughout your entire experience. The Operations Talent Council advises the program and provides oversight with project selection to ensure that your internship supports critical business contributions.
Tailored development
Gain a wide breadth of experience through annual rotations across five operations functions: Global Supply Chain, Process Development, Quality, Manufacturing, and Engineering. You'll engage in on-the-job learning, formal technical and soft skills training, and professional development. Program participants focus on making effective recommendations to Operations' senior leadership via various forums, including a final readout to executive management.
Expansive network
You'll have exclusive opportunities to engage directly with senior leaders. You'll develop as a professional through one-on-one mentoring, various networking events and an Executive Speaker Series.
