The CBSS Lab -Target Expression Imaging and Histopathology (TEIH) group is seeking a highly motivated Histology Professional to join our multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities include, but not limited to, Histology, Immunohistocheminstry (IHC), In-SItu Hybridizatin (ISH), Image Analysis, and Stereology Analysis on tissue slides to provide pathology support for Amgen’s pipeline projects.

Job Description:
Position to work as Senior Associate in the anatomic pathology laboratory. Validate and execute specialized tissue-based assays that are geared to support specific portfolio related questions on target expression. Use your extensive repertoire of pathology expertise to manage/troubleshoot projects independently

Basic Qualifications:
Master’s degree
OR
Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of scientific experience

Preferred Qualifications:
BS with 3+ years of scientific experience or MS and 1+ years of scientific experience in a specialized pathology immunohistochemistry/imaging lab
Hands-on experience in a variety of pathology based methodologies including: IHC, in situ hybridization (ISH), immunofluorescence imaging, image analysis, and specialized tissue sectioning and histology procedures
Experience in documentation, analysis and interpretation of data generated from tissue-based target expression experiments with a variety of statistical approaches
Comfortable working in a highly interactive and vibrant environment designed to promote frequent interaction and brainstorming
Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing business drivers and emerging scientific questions
HT (ASCP) or HTL (ASCP) certification required. QIHC (ASCP) certification
