Associate Supply Chain
What you will do
Let’s do this! Let’s change the world! The Associate Supply Chain will support Amgen Thousand Oaks Dispensing team by performing tasks associated with processing materials required to produce biopharmaceutical products. In this vital role, you will support activities related to picking and dispensing of raw materials and/or any other tasks and activities in support of Dispensing within the ATO31 warehouse areas.
- Consistently follow Standard Operating Procedures and departmental policies with strict adherence to current Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Material handling associated with the movement of materials within a warehouse setting.
- Gown to grade 8-9 and work in a classified Dispensary.
- Perform material handling/dispensing and all associated cleanings. Staging materials for transport and delivery.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams in completing operational activities associated with Dispensing, Distribution, and Inventory Management.
- Supports and develops Continuous Improvement initiatives, programs, and projects.
- Presents and shares area process improvements with the network
- Effectively communicate ideas and issues to management
- Actively participate in Work Center Team efforts as well as Safety programs.
- Provides support during regulatory inspections and be ready to present information to auditors (as required).
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively, identifying and reporting operational issues and process improvement opportunities.
- Identify roadblocks, bringing effective solutions to area management for resolution.
- Maintain Kanban system for consumables.
- Complete all transactions in a prompt, correct and compliant manner.
- Ability to use systems such as SAP, MES, Smartsheet, Tableau, UiPath.
Additional Responsibilities:
Must be available to work various shifts as needed (day, swing, weekends, holidays) as dictated by the production schedule.
Able to regularly lift up to 35lbs, push and pull objects that require up to 50lbs of force, and work on your feet for long durations.
Able to perform the list of physical movements that may be necessary to perform daily functions on the production floor

Basic Qualifications:
- High school/GED + 2 years warehouse/supply chain work experience OR
- Associate’s + 6 months warehouse/supply chain work experience OR
- Bachelor’s
Preferred Qualifications:
- Polished GMP professional with Shipping, Dispensing, Warehousing, Manufacturing and/or Quality experience.
- Support documentation revisions in CDOCS.
- QMTS (Quality Management Tracking System) knowledge, supporting deviation investigations including initiating and owning minor deviations and CAPAs.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
- Experience operating Powered Industrial Vehicles.
- Effective communication skills.
- Familiar with scales & weighing operations.
- Support metrics gathering, prepare reports and present findings to area management.
- Assist with internal operational excellence projects.
- Knowledge of Smartsheets, Teams, Tableau, UiPath.

The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is posted. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
