Observational Research Senior Associate – South Korea Medical Affairs
Job Description:
- Collaborating with the Observational Research Senior Manager to conduct epidemiologic research supporting both pipeline and marketed products, particularly in cardiovascular and rare diseases area.
- Contributing to the development of research strategies within the product team and the observational research therapeutic area.
- Assisting in the creation and development of study concepts, proposals, protocols, and statistical plans.
- Ensuring the accuracy and completeness of biomedical data analysis and presentation, and supporting the interpretation and communication of medical or epidemiologic data.
- Performing literature reviews, preparing research reports, and managing publication planning.
- Overseeing project-related budgets and logistics.
Basic Qualifications:
- A Master's degree in Epidemiology or a related field with a focus on observational research.
- Experience in observational research, real-world healthcare data, large-scale public health data, and/or EMR databases.
- A proven track record of publications in observational research or clinical journals.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and a willingness to learn new things.
- Strong communication skills in both English and Korean.
- Comfortable tackling challenges with complex stakeholders through cross-functional collaborations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A Master's degree with at least 2 years of experience, or a doctoral degree in Epidemiology or a related field with a strong focus on observational research.
- Experience in the pharmaceutical industry or with CRO partners, ensuring operational excellence and efficiency in research activities.
- Proven experience in designing, executing, and analyzing observational research studies within pharmaceutical, academic, or public health settings.
- Strong skills in communicating scientific information, both written and oral, with medical professionals or health authorities.
- Experience in planning and managing observational research projects.
- Proven ability to work effectively in multi-disciplinary teams.
