Marketing Associate Rare Diseases (Fixed term - 1 year)

What you will do

Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. In this vital role you will [top-line statement connecting primary position responsibility to employer brand].

  • Develops and implements Country Brand Plan in full congruence with International Brand Plan.
  • Designs and executes promotional activities (detail aids, message scripts, advertising, congresses, etc.) in line with international branding and key messages.
  • Partners with international PM.
  • Translates/implements international brand campaign locally.
  • Analyses market research and develops POA.
  • Coordinates competitive intelligence and drives competitive action plans.
  • Partners with the Medical Affairs Manager to optimize the brand performance (goals of clinical trials, KOL development, etc.)
  • Recruits and manages external vendors.
  • Coordinates material creation and approvals.
  • Partners with brand team to follow-up implementation of brands plan.

  • Sales support tools.
  • Promotional campaign.
  • Marketing events.
  • Brand Performance.
  • Business presentations for Brand/Franchise/Country Reviews.

What we expect of you

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree OR
  • Associate’s degree and 4 years of experience in similar positions on a big pharmaceutical company OR
  • High school diploma / GED and 6 years of experience in similar positions on a big pharmaceutical company
  • Proficiency in business English.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a US/UK pharmaceutical company.
  • Documented experience in high cost products and track record of product launch.
  • Applies project management and advanced analytical skills.
  • Demonstrates strong industry knowledge and commercial attitude
  • Examines and understands issues from multiple perspectives or points of view, readily sees inter-relationships and cause and effect relationships; takes a systematic approach to successfully resolving all issues.
  • Demonstrates open-mindedness, helicopter view and networking capabilities.
  • Applies advanced communication and presentation skills.
  • Serves as a role model and resource to others in promoting open, honest and cooperative relationships throughout the organization.
  • Displays strong organizational and time management skills; multi-tasks effectively; delivers on commitments in a timely manner.
  • Takes initiative and acts pro-actively, enthusiastically and creatively
