What you will do
Reporting to National Sales Manager, the Sales Manager- Bone is accountable for:
Maximising revenue and market share in the region by driving sales activity and providing leadership to the field force
Designing & execute Sales force/Customer Engagement strategy,
Leading sales team and coaching team members and
Effectively work in the matrix and take leadership for customer centricity strategies with relevant internal stakeholders
Responsibilities
Translates Amgen affiliate and brand strategy into regional/district plans (to deliver successful treatments)
Analyses the sales performance of the relevant brands in the territory and identifies key levers for action
Keeps business unit team informed of any market changes / competitor activity relevant to strategy implementation and development
Ensures execution of the Marketing/Commercial tactics by development of territory plans (Plan Actions) with team members
Manages approved budgets to ensure appropriate allocation of resources to meet the plan and financial control
Plans, allocates and monitors team expenses budget to ensure budgetary control.
Tracks progress of marketing messages and programs
Monitors implementation of plan of actions throughout sales cycles and ensures budget spend within agreed time, costs, compliance and quality parameters
Monitors, evaluates and acts on field force metrics and standards to improve sales force effectiveness from a quantitative and qualitative perspective
Builds a successful sales team by recruiting and selecting candidates and effectively on-boarding new hires
Coaches and motivates team members to achieve/exceed territory goals and optimise individual and team engagement
Conducts annual and ongoing performance reviews and capability assessment within the framework of Amgen’s performance management process
Develop individual team members to continuously improve overall level of performance in their role and for future (talent) development
Supports the team members on external key customer visits as needed
Takes leadership in customer engagement strategies & personal external stakeholder management.

What we expect of you
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
>3 years track-record of success in pharmaceutical selling
Demonstrated leadership abilities
Very good working knowledge of English, both in oral and written communication
Preferred Requirements
Proven experience of managing a sales team
Bachelor’s degree in life science or (bio) medical sciences
Relative experience in Bone or Osteoporosis related portfolio.
Experience in interacting with various disciplines and organizational levels
