Ready to make an impact? Join us in redefining the world through innovation! We are offering a Graduate Internship opportunity starting in Summer 2025. As a Grad Intern, you will be able to apply coursework concepts to real-world situations working alongside professional & expert colleagues while also gaining hands-on experience and advancing your skills.
You will become a part of the Quality Assurance Department, collaborating with cross-functional teams and working on a meaningful initiative within the manufacturing industry, contributing to the team’s success while developing your own potential.
- Manufacturing Processes: Gain exposure to end-to-end pharmaceutical manufacturing workflows, including supply chain, quality assurance, quality control and product development.
- Pharmaceutical Industry and the Pharmacist Role: Shadow/work with mentors from various Functional Areas such as Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Complaints and Product Development to understand daily responsibilities and gain knowledge of the various roles that a pharmacist can execute within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Project Work: Undertake a specific project related to the team’s objectives, culminating in a presentation to key stakeholders.

Basic Qualifications:
Amgen requires that all individuals applying for a grad internship or a co-op assignment at Amgen must meet the following criteria:
- Currently enrolled in a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) program at an accredited college or university.
- Have completed at least 1 year in Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) program.
- Must be enrolled in a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) program following the internship assignment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong academic performance and foundational knowledge in pharmaceutical sciences or related areas.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish).
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
- Enthusiasm for learning about the pharmaceutical industry and contributing to innovative solutions.
- Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Basic understanding of pharmaceutical regulations (FDA, EMA, etc.).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (SharePoint, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel), along with strong technical writing abilities.
