What you will do

In this vital role you will be responsible for set up and leading initiatives that enhance the overall efficiency and performance of Amgen Technology and Innovation Center. This role involves developing and implementing strategies that drive organizational change, improve business processes, and enhance staff engagement and productivity. The Senior Manager of Organizational Effectiveness works closely with global and India leadership to align organizational goals with business strategies, ensuring the organization is well-positioned to achieve its objectives.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning and Execution: Develop and implement strategies to improve organizational effectiveness and efficiency. Partner with senior leadership to identify and address organizational challenges and opportunities. Lead strategic planning sessions and ensure alignment between organizational goals and business strategies.
Change Management: Design and implement change management initiatives to support organizational transformation. Develop change management plans, including communication strategies, training programs, and support structures. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of change initiatives and make necessary adjustments.
Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and develop strategies to streamline operations. Implement standard processes and continuous improvement methodologies to enhance productivity and efficiency. Conduct regular reviews and audits of business processes to find opportunities for optimization.
Staff Engagement and Development: Develop and implement programs to enhance staff engagement and satisfaction. Lead initiatives to improve organizational culture and foster a positive work environment. Support talent development programs, including leadership development, succession planning, career pathing, DEI, learning programs and other site specific initiatives.
Organizational Design: Assess and redesign organizational structures to align with business objectives and improve effectiveness. Develop and implement workforce planning strategies to ensure the right talent is in place to achieve organizational goals. Collaborate with HR and other departments to ensure seamless implementation of organizational design changes.
Performance Management: Implement Amgen’s global performance management process (MAP) and processes to ensure alignment with organizational goals. Lead initiatives to enhance staff performance, including goal setting, feedback, and performance reviews. Analyze performance data and provide insights to senior leadership on organizational performance.
Data-Driven Decision Making: Apply data and analytics to inform decision-making and measure the impact of organizational effectiveness initiatives. Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators and metrics. Provide regular updates to senior leadership on the progress and outcomes of organizational effectiveness initiatives.

Basic Qualifications:
Doctorate degree and 2 years of Organizational Development, Human Resources experience OR
Master’s degree and 8 to 10 years of Organizational Development, Human Resources experience OR
Bachelor’s degree and 10 to 14 years of Organizational Development, Human Resources experience OR
Diploma and 14 to 18 years of Organizational Development, Human Resources experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Must Have
Proven experience in leading large-scale organizational change initiatives.
Strong knowledge of organizational development and change management principles.
Proficiency in MS Office and organizational effectiveness tools.
Good-to-Have
Knowledge of emerging trends and standard processes in organizational development and change management.
Soft Skills:
Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to lead and influence at all levels of the organization.
