What you will do

Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. In this vital role you will serves as the data & analytics expert for the transition management office. The candidate will be responsible for designing and maintaining program management dashboards for the Amgen India Transition Program Management Office (PMO) reporting to the Continuous Improvement senior manager. The role will coordinate with functional teams to gather and organize data, utilizing industry-standard analytical tools to facilitate decision-making.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage databases and data systems necessary for the Program and functions.
• Analyze and interpret complex data sets.
• Prepare reports for the management stating trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data.
• Work with the management team to prioritize business and information needs.
• Identify and recommend new ways to streamline business processes.
• Use data to create models that can be used to depict trends.
• Work with different functions to outline the specific data needs for each business process.

Basic Qualifications:

Doctorate degree in project management OR

Master’s degree and 4 to 6 years of project management expereince OR

Bachelor’s degree and 6 to 8 years of project management expereince OR

Diploma and 10 to 12 years of project management expereince

Preferred Qualifications:

Must Have Skills

• Minimum 8 years of data & analytics development experience.
• Proficiency in SQL and relevant programming/scripting languages.
• Experience in analytics and reporting tools (Excel, Tableau, Power BI, etc.).
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Adept at queries, report writing, and presenting findings.
• Experience in handling reporting packages like Business Objects, programming (Javascript, XML, or ETL frameworks), databases (SQL, etc.).

Soft Skills:

• Proven working experience as a data analyst or business data analyst.
• Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining, and segmentation techniques.
• Willingness to continuously learn and stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.

Educational Qualifications:

• Prefer Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Informatics, Information Systems, or a related field.
