What you will do
The Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Manager will support our drive for world class EHS performance for the India Office. The manager will report to the EHS lead for the facility and will be based in Hyderabad.
The successful candidate will support EHS programs and safety culture initiatives for our office in Hyderabad, India.
The ideal candidate will have a broad understanding of EHS disciplines. The candidate will support office safety related environmental, health and safety programs and will assist the EHS lead with start up and expansion operations in the country. The manager will become the office safety subject matter expert for AIN and will work closely with Global EHS subject matter experts to deliver the best results. Experience is required in the following disciplines:
- Ergonomics
- Safety Culture
- Fire life safety and evacuation
- Slip/Trip and Falls
- Injury prevention and Incident Management
- Environmental Compliance and Sustainability
Primary responsibilities include:
- Support the implementation of EHS programs and safety culture initiatives
- Responsible for establishing a strong office ergonomics program focused on workplace ergonomics
- Lead the investigation of workplace incidents to determine root cause and develop actions to prevent reoccurrence
- Provide EHS training to all AIN personal, including, staff on-boarding, ergonomics, evacuation, workplace inspection, situational awareness
- Assist with the completion and submission of environmental permits and reports
- Lead EHS Communications including awareness campaigns and initiatives
- Coordinate regular inspections of the work areas
- Support sustainability efforts as needed

What we expect of you
Basic Qualifications:
- Master’s degree and 1 to 3 years of directly related experience OR
- Bachelor’s degree and 3 to 5 years of directly related experience OR
- Diploma and 7 to 9 years of directly related experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of EHS regulations as they pertain to office-based operations Laboratory Safety experience Trained ergonomist Project Management experience Proficient in Microsoft suite programs and data management
Soft Skills:
Strong communication and presentation skills Committed Self-starting Program development
