Digital Employee Experience & Automation Engineer
What you will do
Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. In this vital role you will play a key role in delivering and optimizing Digital Employee Experience (DEX) management solutions within the organization. This includes designing, implementing, and managing end-user computing environments to enhance system performance, user productivity, and overall IT efficiency. The engineer will identify trends and issues in the PC environment and develop automated solutions to improve the digital experience.
This role will also be responsible for supporting and maturing the organization's DEX strategy by leveraging monitoring and automation tools to proactively resolve issues. Additionally, the DEX Engineer will design and implement automation workflows to streamline endpoint management and improve operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitoring and Analysis: Apply DEX tools to continuously monitor endpoint performance, user interactions, and system health metrics to identify potential issues and areas for improvement.
Issue Identification and Resolution: Analyze data to detect trends or recurring problems within the PC environment and implement automated remediation strategies to resolve these issues promptly.
Monitor and troubleshoot device experience, stability, and security compliance.
Automation Development: Design and implement automation scripts or workflows to enhance system performance, reduce manual intervention, and improve overall user experience.
Collaboration: Work closely with Amgen DTI support teams to communicate findings, share insights, and develop comprehensive solutions to enhance the digital employee experience.
Reporting: Generate detailed reports on system performance, user experience metrics, and the effectiveness of implemented solutions to inform collaborators and guide decision-making.
ITSM Knowledge: Experience with IT Service Management (ITSM) tools such as ServiceNow for incident management, automation, and reporting.

Basic Qualifications:
Master’s degree and 4 to 6 years of Computer Science, IT or related field experience OR
Bachelor’s degree and 6 to 8 years of Computer Science, IT or related field experience OR
Diploma and 10 to 12 years of Computer Science, IT or related field experience
Technical Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of DEX tools such as 1E Tachyon, Lakeside SysTrack, or NextThink, including their deployment, configuration, and management.
Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze complex data sets to identify trends, root causes of issues, and opportunities for improvement.
Automation Expertise: Experience in developing automation scripts using languages such as PowerShell, Python, or similar to streamline processes and remediate issues.
Problem-Solving: Proven ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues in a systematic and efficient manner.
Working knowledge of Desktop Management related technologies and processes, including Intune, Azure/Active Directory, networking, monitoring, and advanced desktop troubleshooting
Proficiency in SQL for data analysis, reporting, and troubleshooting.
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical collaborators.
Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with both technical and non-technical teams.
High degree of initiative and self-motivation, with strong organizational skills.
Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks effectively in a dynamic work environment.
Diligent, with a strong focus on quality and accuracy.
Work Hours: This position operates on the second shift, from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM IST. Candidates must be willing and able to work during these hours, including weekends and holidays as required.
