Compensation Cycle, Benchmark and Process Improvement Manager
What you will do
Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. In this vital role you will is responsible for
Managing and optimizing the compensation cycle (Workday Compensation Admin).
Managing and optimizing the annual benchmark cycle
Driving efficiency and accuracy of the global compensation infrastructure, data, tools and systems by demonstrating automation, technology, and process enhancements
Annual Benchmarking Process
Manage participation in benchmarking surveys, data collection and processing in Market pay, vendor selection
Assess benchmarking results to identify trends and areas for improvement, recommend adjustments and support rollout of adjustments
Increase automated benchmarking by reviewing and managing master matching matrix, market pay improvements and job architecture opportunities
Model salary structures
Update and improve offer modelers based on the latest insights
Annual Compensation Cycle Management
Lead the planning, coordination, and implementation of the annual compensation cycle (member of the MAP Coalition Team)
Develop and implement timelines, testing, tools, and communication plans
Collaborate with compensation managers, HR, HRIS and finance to ensure the compensation cycle runs smoothly and data integrity is maintained
Provide reporting and analytics during and after the compensation cycle to evaluate outcomes, trends, and process improvement opportunities
Automation & System Optimization
Lead the identification, evaluation, and implementation of tools and technologies that improve the efficiency and automation of compensation-related recurring tasks (salary structures, job codes, bonus calculations, job evaluations)
Partner with HRIS, IT, and compensation teams to enhance the configuration and functionality of compensation modules within the company's HRIS (e.g., Workday)
Process Improvement
Review, map, and optimize current compensation processes to find opportunities for process improvement, automation, and increased efficiency
Support standard methodologies in workflow automation to ensure compensation processes are streamlined, repeatable, and scalable
Data Management & Integrity
Ensure accuracy and integrity of compensation data by improving data management processes, building validation mechanisms, and automating data reconciliation
Project Management
Manage and participate in automation and process improvement projects within the compensation function, from concept to implementation
Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure successful and timely implementation of initiatives
Partner Collaboration
Act as the primary liaison between compensation, HRIS, IT, and finance teams to ensure alignment on system requirements, business needs, and automation goals
Provide regular updates and communication to Key collaborators on process improvement initiatives and their impact on the business
Training & Change Management
Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for HR and compensation team members on new automated processes, tools, and systems
Lead organizational change initiatives to ensure successful adoption of new tools and processes by key collaborators
Compliance & Risk Management
Ensure that automated processes are aligned with legal, regulatory, and company-specific requirements (e.g., data privacy, FLSA, pay equity laws)
Implement controls and validation checks within automated systems to minimize errors and reduce risk
What we expect of you

Basic Qualifications:
Doctorate degree OR
Master’s degree and 4 to 6 years of compensation, HRIS, or process improvement, with a strong focus on automation and technology implementation OR
Bachelor’s degree and 6 to 8 years of compensation, HRIS, or process improvement, with a strong focus on automation and technology implementation OR
Diploma and 10 to 12 years of compensation, HRIS, or process improvement, with a strong focus on automation and technology implementation experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with HR systems and compensation software (e.g., Workday) and knowledge of compensation processes
Project management skills, with a consistent track record of leading process improvement initiatives
Advanced Excel skills, with experience in building and managing data models, as well as proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools
Strong attention to detail, with a focus on data integrity and quality
Excellent communication and key collaborator management skills
Experience in organizational change and delivering training programs to ensure successful adoption of new processes and tools
